Thursday’s Best WNBA Same Game Parlays

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Golden State Valkyries (+154) at Atlanta Dream (-185) | O/U 147.5 (-105/-115) Parlay No. 1

Because of a scheduling conflict, the Atlanta Hawks have a home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers at 8:00 p.m. ET on NBA TV, so State Farm Arena isn’t available that evening. So, the teams agreed to play at 12:30 p.m. ET. If needed, a decisive Game 7 would return to San Francisco at the Chase Center at 8:00 p.m. ET on Saturday.

We crowned a Major League Baseball World Series champion on Wednesday night as the Milwaukee Brewers topped the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 5. Will we crown a WNBA champion tonight? Golden State leads the best-of-seven series 3-2 after winning the past two low-scoring games.

Atlanta took a 2-1 series lead after blowing out Golden State 97-71 in Game 3, but the Valkyries fought back for a 67-62 win in Game 4 to tie the series 2-2. In Game 5, the Valkyries protected their home court with a 64-55 win as a 1.5-point underdog, moving them one win away from a title in just their second WNBA season. Atlanta’s 55 points were the fewest in a WNBA Finals game since the Phoenix Mercury in 2021, who managed just 50 points in an 86-50 loss to the Chicago Sky.

The Dream shot 29% (19-of-65) from the field and 23% (6-of-26) from beyond the arc, while Angel Reese was held to seven points on 2-of-8 shooting, though she grabbed 15 rebounds and five assists. Rhyne Howard did her best, scoring 20 points with three triples, accounting for half of the Dream’s threes. Jordin Canada had 12 points, six rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block with two three-pointers.

The Valkyries shot just 39% (24-of-61) and only 25% (6-of-24) from downtown. Four players scored 12 or 13 points, with Kiah Stokes putting up 13 points, eight rebounds and three blocks.

Golden State has covered in six of the past eight playoff games, while the under is 4-1 in the past five outings. Atlanta has failed to cover the past two outings, but it is still 7-3 against the spread (ATS) in 10 games in this postseason. The under is 5-1 in the Dream’s last six games since the series clincher against the New York Liberty, so we’ll back the under today. Plus, the early 9:30 a.m. PT tip-off might mean lower scores.

As for player props, we’ve rolled with Reese all season to record double-doubles. Even though we expect a low-scoring game, let’s take Reese to record a double-double to 4X this same-game parlay.

Golden State Valkyries (+154) at Atlanta Dream (-185) | O/U 147.5 (-105/-115) Parlay No. 2

For our second same-game parlay (SGP) opportunity, we’ll go with a more slanted Golden State solution.

Kiah Stokes has been amazing on the glass, grabbing seven or more rebounds in all five games of these WNBA Finals and in nine straight postseason contests. In this series, Stokes is averaging 10.6 rebounds per game. We will go rather conservatively, taking Stokes to secure eight rebounds in Game 6. However, if you want to push it to 10+ boards, she is near even-money.

For the other Golden State player prop, we’ll look to Veronica Burton to record at least 19 combined points + rebounds + assists. She scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds in Game 5, and she has at least three assists in six of her past seven postseason outings.

    Parlay Odds: +550
