WNBA Same Game Parlays & Picks: Wednesday (8/19)

Tonight's WNBA schedule is going to have a lot to live up to after the quartet of games the league treated us to yesterday. We've only got two games on deck, but the matchups are intriguing and good ones for betting on WNBA same game parlays (SGPs).

Of course, I'd say that about every slate because I really enjoy what I do. But I digress. Here are my top WNBA SGPs for tonight's games.

Wednesday’s Best WNBA Same Game Parlays

(Odds Courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Toronto Tempo vs. Washington Mystics

Leg #1: Under 170.5 Points (-108)

The over is 7-3 for Toronto in their last 10 games, but I think that has more to do with their poor defense rather than good offensive play.

They've averaged 85.5 points per game (PPG) over their last 10 games, and Washington's defense will likely hold them below that. At the same time, the Mystics will find some success on offense against the worst defense in the league, but not enough to send the final score over the total.

Leg #2: Marina Mabrey Over 2.5 Made Three-Pointers (-136)

Marina Mabrey has gone over this mark in 20 out of 32 games this season, including 10 of her last 15 and four straight. As good as Washington's defense has been, it has not been stellar against three-point shooters. In the last 10 games, 12 players have recorded three or more three-pointers (with two doing it twice).

Leg #3: Shakira Austin Over 19.5 Points (-128)

Shakira Austin has averaged 16.7 PPG this season but 20.9 in her last 10 games. Austin has gone over this total in five of her last seven games. While she finished under it in both prior meetings versus Toronto, she'll go over it tonight against the worst defense in the league, playing in the second half of a back-to-back.

Parlay Odds: +495 - A $100 wager will result in a $595 payday; your stake plus $495 in winnings.

Minnesota Lynx vs. Golden State Valkyries

Leg #1: Olivia Miles Over 18.5 Points (-122)

Olivia Miles is averaging nearly 20 PPG this season, but just over it in her last 10 games. She hit the over in five of her last six games. As good as Golden State’s defense is, 14 players went over this line in a game against them over the last 10 contests.

Leg #2: Veronica Burton Over 1.5 Made Three-Pointers (+118)

Veronica Burton has made two or more threes in 17 out of 34 games this season and in seven of her last nine. The Lynx will likely be more concerned with Janelle Salaun and Kayla Thornton, which should open up some opportunities for Burton. In the last 10 games, Minnesota has allowed 21 players to record two or more three-pointers.

Leg #3: Napheesa Collier Under 18.5 Points (-128)

Napheesa Collier is certainly capable of going off for 20+ points on any given night, but she has not been a big scoring threat since her return. She's gone over this total in four out of nine games, and I wouldn't expect the fifth to come against the best defense in the WNBA.

Parly Odds: +467 - A $100 wager will result in a $567 payday; your stake plus $467 in winnings.
