- Leg 1: Mercury -7.5 (-112)
- Leg 2: Under 157.5 Points (-110)
- Leg 3: Angel Reese to Record a Double-Double (-185)
The Sky (0-3) and Mercury (3-1) battle at PHX Arena on Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. ET. The Mercury have won and covered each of the past three meetings since August 15th, 2024, while going 4-1 SU/ATS in the previous five in this series. The under is 8-2 in the past 10 games in this series.
Chicago has had a difficult time so far, going 0-3 SU/ATS, while allowing 91+ points in all three games. The over has hit in each of the past two games, averaging 76 PPG, while allowing 95 PPG in the same span.
Phoenix held off the Washington Mystics 68-62 last time out on Sunday, barely covering as a 5.5-point favorite as the under (162.5) cashed. Phoenix has been the opposite of Chicago, allowing 62 or fewer points in two of the past three games at PHX Arena. The under has cashed in three of four games, too. The Mercury ranks No. 1 this season, allowing just 71 PPG, while allowing just 27.3% from behind the three-point line.
We’ll back the Mercury to get the job done on their home floor, and we’ll lean low on the total, based on Phoenix’s lockdown defense.
For player props, we’ll go with Sky forward Angel Reese to record a double-double. It’s not priced out of line at -185. The Bayou Barbie has managed double-doubles in two of her three games, while averaging 12.5 PPG and 14.5 rebounds per game (RPG) in two road games this season.
