Saturdayâs Best Elite 8 Player Prop Bet Picks & Predictions
Odds via FanDuel Sportsbook
Adama Sanogo OVER 16.5 Points (-125)
UConn has coasted through this tournament with three double-digit wins. The Huskies have been stellar against their non-conference opponents, in fact, they are a perfect 17-0. A big reason is because they are the most well-balanced team in the country due to being top 13 in offensive and defensive efficiency, according to KenPom.
Adama Sanogo has been one of the tournamentâs best players, averaging 23.3 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks. He will see a lot of Drew Timme, and while Timme is a good defender, Sanogo has been immune to good defenses. We saw this against Arkansas, who was top-20 in defensive efficiency.
Markquis Nowell OVER 17.5 Points (-113)
Kansas State has stepped up throughout this tournament, especially in their overtime win against Michigan State. Tonight they will have one of their biggest challenges against FAU, who have become the new Cinderella story of the tournament. FAU has been able to use its quickness and athleticism to play faster than its opponents, and itâs allowed for some late comebacks by the Owls.
It will be on KSUâs guard Markquis Nowell, who had one of the more memorable performances in that win against Michigan State with 20 points and 19 assists. Nowell and the Wildcats have no problem playing uptempo and will be able to keep up with FAU, and Nowell will have another memorable performance.
