2025 College Football Bowl Game Predictions (Week 11)

                    Valero Alamo Bowl Prediction

The Valero Alamo Bowl is a Big 12 tie-in and ranks as the most prestigious bowl game within the conference outside of the Sugar Bowl in the College Football Playoff. The Houston Cougars are trending toward representing the Big 12 at 7-2, while a potential matchup against USC, a former PAC-12 program, is also likely.

The Trojans are 6-2 and average nearly 40 points per game under head coach Lincoln Riley. A narrow 21-17 road win over Nebraska in Week 10 improves USC’s bid for the Alamo Bowl, although tough matchups against Iowa and Oregon await.

Connor Weigman has led Houston with his dual-threat ability. The Cougars are a top-40 scoring defense but just logged a bad loss at home to West Virginia. Houston will look to finish the season strong with matchups against UCF, TCU, and Baylor.

                    Pick: Houston vs. USC

                    Wasabi Fenway Bowl Prediction

The Wasabi Fenway Bowl is second in the pecking order of non-College Football Playoff bowl games for the ACC. The American Conference will be represented as the other team in this ACC-affiliated bowl game, likely sending East Carolina.

The Pirates are 5-3 and 3-1 in conference play. A top-50 scoring offense and top-20 scoring defense makes East Carolina a tough out, even against a Power 4 program like Cal.

Cal’s 4-1 start is long gone after a recent 1-3 stretch against ACC opponents. The Golden Bears need to log at least one more win to qualify for the Fenway Bowl, which will likely be against Stanford. Louisville and SMU are trending up, so expect Cal to finish 6-6.

                    Pick: California vs. East Carolina

                    Scooter’s Coffee Frisco Bowl Prediction

The Frisco Bowl is tied in with the American Conference, which is the top Group of 5 conference in 2025 based on collective strength of schedule and winning percentage. The UTSA Roadrunners just improved their bid to play in this bowl game with a dominant 48-26 win against Tulane.
Any other Group of Five opponent can qualify to play in the Frisco Bowl. Based on regional geography and a winning record, Southern Miss seems like a potential bid. The Golden Eagles are 6-2 and undefeated in the Sun Belt, averaging 33 points per game with a well-balanced offense.
Southern Miss already has six wins. UTSA is 4-4 and needs to win two of its final four games to qualify, with tough matchups against USF and East Carolina still on the horizon.
                    Pick: UTSA vs. Southern Miss
