2025 NCAA Tournament Player Prop Bets: Round 2 (Sunday)

We added some profit thanks to yesterday’s 2-1 day with our player props. Roddy Gayle put on a show, and we called that.

Let’s keep that momentum heading into today’s action in college basketball. Here are three player props to consider for today’s second-round action.

Sunday’s Best NCAA Tournament Player Prop Bets

    (Odds Courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Luke Barrett Over 8.5 Points (-115)

The Alabama Crimson Tide have allowed 17.73 points per game to guard/forward players this season. Alabama has also allowed two three-pointers made per game and has given up 30.91% from downtown to guard/forward players this season.

Luke Barrett has attempted 8.5 shots per game over the last 10 games. He’s also attempted more than four threes per game in that same period. Barrett is not connecting from three at a great rate, but he’ll get some open looks. He’s a confident and competent shooter.

In addition, Barrett has shot 45.3% from the floor over the last 10 games. He’s also played all 40 minutes for the St. Mary’s Gaels in five of his last 10 games. Don’t be surprised if Barrett gets a lot of volume, especially since Alabama has allowed 13.35 field goal attempts to guard/forward players per game this season.

Ultimately, the Gaels want to play slow, but they might get thrown into a faster-paced game with Alabama.

Khaman Maluach Over 7.5 Points (+104)

Khaman Maluach scored 11 points against Mount St. Mary’s in just 16 minutes. He didn’t miss a shot in that game. He’s shot 75% from the field in each of his last four games.

On the other hand, Baylor has allowed centers to shoot 59.44% from the field. Centers have also scored 13.62 points per game against Baylor this season, which is 233rd in the nation. Ultimately, Maluach has attempted at least five shots in five of his last six games. If he makes just four shots, that will cover the 7.5-point total.

I trust Maluach to add at least eight points today.

Langston Love Under 9.5 Points (-155)

Langston Love came through with 15 points against Mississippi State in the first round. However, he’s scored at least 10 points in only 47% of games this season. After all, he’s also earned an average of just 8.7 points per game this season. Over the last 10 games, Love has averaged only 7.4 field goal attempts. He’s also shot 32.3% from the field during that stretch.

Meanwhile, he’ll battle a Duke defense that is one of the best at defending guards. Duke has allowed guards to score only 11.68 points per game, which is the second-lowest rate in college basketball this season.

Guards have shot just 29.68% against the Blue Devils this season. Take Love to go under on his points props.
