    2025 Preakness Stakes Predictions: Goal Oriented

    • Odds: 6-1

    Goal Oriented has only run two races, but he has won both of them in convincing fashion. The horse is trained by Bob Baffert who has won the Preakness eight times. That fact alone makes it worth looking at this horse. The only real downside is that Goal Oriented is making a giant leap in competition for this race, which could be a big ask for a horse only running in its third event.

    But Flavien Prat is an experienced jockey who won the Preakness in 2021, so Goal Oriented couldn’t ask for a better duo than Baffert and Prat to gameplan this race and get him across the line first. If this horse had run in more races, it would be worth looking at him to win, but as it stands, I’ll add him to exotics.
