Pay Billy may just be the hottest horse coming into the Preakness in terms of sheet volume of victories. With 4 wins in five races (all in Maryland) dating back to December 15, the son of Improbable has really come into his own in his 3-year-old season. Pay Billy has not finished worse than second since a fourth place showing his inaugural race at Laurel Park back on October 26, 2024. He has not failed to hit the board since two weeks prior on October 12, 2024 at Delaware Park, the only such occasion in eight career starts.

Pay Billy has never failed to hit the board when running in the state of Maryland and could add significant value to exotics that are desperately looking for it. This is his toughest test by far but to four wins in five races is four wins in five races and the two latest were stakes races. Keep him off your tickets at your own risk because when he hits the board he's gonna Pay Billy, he's gonna pay John, pay Joey, pay George...he's gonna pay everybody.
