While Liverpool sits comfortably atop the table in the Premier League, there's still plenty of position jockeying going on underneath the likely champions. Premier League Matchday 31 Bets: Aston Villa vs. Nottingham Forest

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Aston Villa (-105) vs. Nottingham Forest (+290), DRAW (+255) | O/U 2.5 (-115/-115)

Let's pick it up on Saturday afternoon when we have a thrilling contest on the docket between Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest. The Villans currently find themselves in seventh place in the table at 13-9-8 (48 points), while the third-place Trees enter the weekend at 17-6-7 (57 points). Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. ET from Villa Park in Birmingham.

This play comes with a bit of a price tag, but I think we're set to see some offense in Birmingham on Saturday. I'm taking the Both Teams To Score (BTTS) prop at -140. While Forest has been excellent defensively this season, their defensive success hasn't translated to road matches. They've allowed 25 goals in 15 road contests, which is okay, but still equates to 1.7 goals against per match. The Tricky Trees are tasked with trying to fend off a Villans offense that's averaging 1.7 goals per match at home. They've also netted three goals in each of their last three matches in all competitions.

Aston Villa, on the other hand, has been just a mid-tier team defensively this campaign. They're 14th in goals conceded (45) while ranking 10th in xGA (40.9). Nottingham Forest has scored at least once in six of its last seven PL matches, with the exception being a 0-0 draw against ironclad Arsenal. I like both of these offenses to score at least once on Saturday.

Pick: Both Teams To Score (-140)
