Let’s call a spade a spade, the Cowboys played awful last week, and because of it, they lost to an inferior team. Dak Prescott coming off the calf injury, could not move on the ball against the Broncos’ defensive line, who just traded away their best player. This included 0-for-3 on 4th down attempts.
Last week, Atlanta came out and played well to start the game, just like they did quite a few times in 2020. The offense was on fire and got them a huge lead late into the game, just like in 2020. But, do you see where I’m going with this? The Falcons would take a 24-6 lead in the fourth quarter….the Saints would charge back and score 19 straight points to take a 25-24….But plot twist! Unlike in a typical 2020 game where they choked away a lead and lost, this time Matty Ice would throw a 64-yard pass to Cordarelle Patterson to get them within field goal range, and Younghoe Koo would kick the walk-off field goal for the 27-25 win.
