MLB Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (9/18)
There are a couple of spots in the MLB that I’m eying tonight!
Therefore, I’ve added two same-game parlays to root on throughout the night. Let’s start the week off with a big hit!
Monday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlay Bets
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Philadelphia Phillies vs. Atlanta Braves
- Leg 1: Kyle Schwarber Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105)
- Leg 2: Bryce Harper Over 1.5 Total Bases (+105)
- Leg 3: Bryson Stott Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115)
It’ll be Kyle Wright on the mound for the Braves. Last week, he returned to the mound after an injury that held him out from May until September. Wright’s return didn’t go as planned. He allowed six runs on six hits against the Phillies. He’s facing the same team tonight.
The right-hander allowed a .214 ISO and wOBA of .475 to 18 Phillies batters in that game. This season. He’s allowed a .372 wOBA to 111 batters but watched lefties hit a .312 ISO and wOBA of .459.
Therefore, we’ll stack the Philadelphia lefties in this parlay.
Kyle Schwarber has smacked a .571 ISO and wOBA of .554 against righties over the last month. Schwarber has hit 50% of fly balls and line drives while hitting 89.5% of hard contact. He’s also hit a barrel percentage of 26.3% and has hit a ground ball just 26.3% of the time over the last 30 days.
Meanwhile, Bryce Harper has smacked a .333 ISO and wOBA of .468 against righties in the last 30 days. Harper has also struck out under 17% of the time. Like Schwarber, Harper has hit a high hard-contact rate and a 14.3% barrel percentage against righties in the last month.
Bryson Stott is another lefty doing damage against righties. Stott hit a .219 ISO and wOBA of .339 last month. Stott has only struck out 11.4% of the time while hitting nearly 28% of line drives and fly balls.
Back the Philadelphia lefties!
Parlay Odds: +766
Milwaukee Brewers vs. St. Louis Cardinals
- Leg 1: Carlos Santana Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)
- Leg 2: Willy Adames Over 1.5 Total Bases (+100)
- Leg 3: William Contreras Over 1.5 Total Bases (-125)
Adam Wainwright is no longer a top-tier pitcher for the Cardinals. Instead, Wainwright has allowed a .228 ISO and wOBA of .407 to his last 103 batters. The veteran right-hander has struggled against lefties and righties over the last month, giving up poor ISO and wOBA numbers to both sides of the plate.
Wainwright has been better at earning ground balls and limiting fly balls against righties. However, lefties have hit 33.3% of fly balls with 43.6% of hard contact against Wainwright over the last 30 days. Still, he’s allowed a lot of power to both sides of the plate in the previous month.
Carlos Santana has destroyed right-handed pitching in the last 30 days. He’ll bat from the left side as a switch-hitter. Sanatana has hit a .277 ISO and wOBA of .390 against righties in the previous 30 days. He’s also struck out under 19% of the time.
On the other hand, William Contreras has hit a .183 ISO and wOBA of .368 as a right-handed batter against other righties. Then there’s Willy Adames, who has also smacked a .300 ISO and wOBA of .385 against righties in the last 30 days.
Wainwright has allowed so many hits throughout the season, and he also doesn’t earn many strikeouts. Let’s roll with the middle of the Milwaukee order. The Brewers’ middle of the order is red hot right now.
Parlay Odds: +653
