Dolphins vs. Jets Preview & Picks
This game seems easy to handicap. All three of the Jets’ home games in 2026 have gone under the total (39.5, 44.5 and 38.5 totals; 33, 37 and 29 points), and New York is 3-0 ATS at home. Totals of 42 points or fewer are 17-8 to the Under, and 7-3 to the Under at 40 points or fewer. Miami hasn't scored more than 24 in any game. Bet the under and watch another game on Sunday.
Seth’s Polymarket prediction for Week 7 was the under at 39.5 points (featured on the Week 7 Best Bets Show).

Best NFL Same Game Parlay for Dolphins vs. Jets
Here is our top NFL same game parlay for Dolphins vs. Jets. And you can view all of our Week 7 NFL same game parlays.
- Leg 1: Malik Willis Under 183.5 Passing Yards (-112)
- Leg 2: Ollie Gordon II 50+ Rushing Yards (-145)
- Leg 3: Mason Taylor 20+ Receiving Yards (-129)
Miami is 0-5 and returning from the bye. Despite the week off, don't expect the Dolphins' passing attack to improve right away. Malik Willis has underwhelmed this season, averaging just 169.8 passing yards per game. That includes only 137 and 85 yards in the past two games. He also has a poor 56.2% completion rate this year.
Willis now faces a Jets defense that's allowing only 202.0 passing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks, the fifth-lowest mark in the league. The matchup should keep Willis under 183.5 passing yards. It's a low bar, but his current form and the sneaky-tough New York pass defense point to the under.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins should lean on Ollie Gordon and the run game. The Jets are allowing the sixth-most rushing yards per game to opposing RBs this season. It's a favorable matchup for Gordon, who's run for 88 and 100 yards in the past two games. He's seeing the lion's share of carries in Miami's backfield with De'Von Achane out. Getting to 50+ this week is very doable.
On the New York side, Mason Taylor is showing some value. The tight end returned from injury two weeks ago and has immediately out-snapped and outperformed fellow TE Kenyon Sadiq. Over the past two games combined, Taylor has logged 75 snaps with 57 yards on seven receptions compared to 35 snaps, 15 yards, and three catches for Sadiq. The Dolphins, meanwhile, are allowing the fourth-most receiving yards per game to tight ends.

What is an NFL player prop bet?
An NFL player prop bet is a type of wager where you’re betting on the performance of a specific player in a game rather than the overall outcome. For example, you might place a bet on how many passing yards a quarterback will throw for, or how many touchdowns a running back will score. It’s a fun way to get more invested in the action, especially if you’re confident in how a particular player will perform, regardless of who wins or loses the game. It’s like focusing on one slice of the pie instead of the whole thing.
