    Jets vs. Patriots Betting Preview

The Over is the play for me here. I think we’ve seen the Patriots’ offense turn back into a wagon, with 29 points against Buffalo and 45 against Las Vegas the last two weeks, and Drake Maye is playing confidently again. New England is going to score on the Jets, but I also think New York might score on the Patriots.

The Jets have faced tougher matchups against the Browns (in terrible weather) and, the week before that, a Bears team that played bully ball the entire game (New York barely possessed the ball).

I do have some concerns about the Will Campbell injury, and rookie pass-rusher David Bailey is coming off a monster game and could wreak some havoc against a compromised Patriots offensive line. But Maye is playing so well right now that I like the game total Over (while avoiding laying more than a touchdown in a divisional game).

That’s the only reason I don’t love the spread: The number. A full touchdown in a divisional game is a lot; these teams know each other, and Aaron Glenn has now faced Mike Vrabel and Maye twice. The Patriots laid a 42-burger on the Jets back in Week 17 in the 2025 season (in New York). Last year at Gillette Stadium, the Pats won 27-14 (total close at 43 points). Geno Smith also lit up the Patriots’ defense in Week 1 of last season (362 passing yards).

Still, to be clear… this is more of a lean and a game I’ll likely stay away from.

Best NFL Same Game Parlay for Jets vs. Patriots

Here is our top NFL same game parlay for Jets vs. Patriots. And you can view all of our Week 6 NFL same game parlays.

After being held in check by Chicago two weeks ago, Garrett Wilson bounced back in a big way last game. The Jets' star wideout caught seven passes for 104 yards on 11 targets. Let's back him to post another productive stat line against New England this week.

The Patriots have allowed at least 60 receiving yards to a pass-catcher five times this year. They've also given up 100+ yards to an opposing player in three out of five games. New York will be without Adonai Mitchell again, leaving Wilson as the clear top target for Geno Smith. Plus, Wilson has 70+ yards in three out of five games, including 100+ yards in two of the last three.

On the Patriots' side, expect Hunter Henry to be limited in the passing game. The Jets are allowing the seventh-fewest receiving yards per game to tight ends this season. The defense has held some talented tight ends, such as Sam LaPorta and Harold Fannin Jr., in check. Henry has 40+ yards in three of the last four games, but the Patriots' other pass-catchers are projected to be more involved in this matchup.

New England will also likely lean on the ground game, as the Jets have struggled against the run lately. Even so, Drake Maye probably won't be involved much in that rushing attack. New York is allowing just 13.6 rushing yards per game to quarterbacks. The pass rush doesn't pressure often, so Maye won't be scrambling as much. He's also gone under 28.5 rushing yards in three out of five games this season.

What is an NFL player prop bet?

An NFL player prop bet is a type of wager where you’re betting on the performance of a specific player in a game rather than the overall outcome. For example, you might place a bet on how many passing yards a quarterback will throw for, or how many touchdowns a running back will score. It’s a fun way to get more invested in the action, especially if you’re confident in how a particular player will perform, regardless of who wins or loses the game. It’s like focusing on one slice of the pie instead of the whole thing.
