NFL Player Props, Picks & Predictions: Titans vs. Colts
Here are some of Andrew Erickson’s top picks for Titans vs. Colts. And check out all of his top picks for NFL Week 6.
Best Bets for Titans vs. Colts
I like the over. Indianapolis is back in the dome after a road trip to Pittsburgh last week, where the offense looked lackluster, and the Steelers kept Jonathan Taylor in check. I’m not sure Tennessee can do the same, and Taylor averages well over 100 rushing yards per game at home. If the Titans can’t stop him, this becomes a better game for points even if the Colts score most of them.
The Colts’ defense is in bad shape, so I think Tennessee can do enough to push this past the total. Both games last season between these two teams went over 50 points easily. This matchup features two defenses with an EPA/play inside the bottom eight.
The Colts are another slot-funnel defense, ranking second in yards allowed to slot targets this season. The top five most comparable players to Wan’Dale Robinson versus the Colts have seen the over hit in all five games this season. Robinson has gone over in three out of five games this season. They also rank fifth in slot targets this season.
And to really make a correlated bet, pair it with the under on Carnell Tate’s 4.5 receptions.
Welsh gave this out on our Props Show for Week 6, and I might have added it myself had he not beaten me to the show sheet.
Erickson’s Picks
- Over 44.5 Points
- Wan'Dale Robinson OVER 35.5 Receiving Yards
- Carnell Tate UNDER 4.5 Receptions
Best NFL Same Game Parlay for Titans vs. Colts
Here is our top NFL same game parlay for Titans vs. Colts. And you can view all of our Week 6 NFL same game parlays.
- Leg 1: Jonathan Taylor Under 89.5 Rushing Yards (-112)
- Leg 2: Josh Downs 50+ Receiving Yards (-108)
- Leg 3: Carnell Tate 50+ Receiving Yards (-138)
Pittsburgh held Jonathan Taylor to a season-low 45 rushing yards last week. Yards have been tough to come by for the Colts' stud running back, who's averaging just 3.9 yards per carry. Taylor could be in for another subpar game this week in a sneaky-tough matchup.
Tennessee has been stout against the run. The Titans are allowing just 3.5 yards per carry, the fifth-best mark in the league. The defense has also allowed only one opposing back to rush for 90+ yards this season, and that was Breece Hall back in Week 1. It's hard to see Taylor hitting that this weekend with the Colts' offensive line struggling to open holes right now.
Meanwhile, Josh Downs should be productive for Indianapolis’ offense. Tennessee is allowing the seventh-most receiving yards per game to opposing wide receivers this season. The Titans have also allowed 50+ yards to seven different wideouts through five weeks. Downs is the best bet to do it for the Colts. His 34 targets are second on the team, behind Tyler Warren, who might not play due to a groin injury.
Let's also target the top wideout on the other side of this game. The Colts are allowing the fifth-most receiving yards per game this season. The Colts’ secondary has also allowed at least 50 yards to an opposing wide receiver in every game this season. As for Carnell Tate, he should bounce back after being held to one catch for six yards last week. He went off for 145 yards on nine receptions in the previous game.
Parlay Odds: +435

What is an NFL player prop bet?
An NFL player prop bet is a type of wager where you’re betting on the performance of a specific player in a game rather than the overall outcome. For example, you might place a bet on how many passing yards a quarterback will throw for, or how many touchdowns a running back will score. It’s a fun way to get more invested in the action, especially if you’re confident in how a particular player will perform, regardless of who wins or loses the game. It’s like focusing on one slice of the pie instead of the whole thing.
