The Big 3 is about to hit the halfway mark as we head into Week 6 of the season. This weekend, they’ll play all four games in Detroit, Michigan, at Little Caesars Arena on Sunday, July 20. Below, I’ve got a best bet for each game of Week 6. Let’s get right to it! Here are our top picks and predictions for Big3 Week 6.

Big3 Week 6 Best Bets & Picks

Chicago Triplets vs. LA Riot

The Chicago Triplets escaped the Dallas Power with a 50-45 win in Week 5. They’re now 3-1 on the year behind Nasir Core and Montrezl Harrell. This team lacks depth, but Core, Harrell, and Allen all added 15+ points in the win. Harrell is now fourth in the Big3 in points this season. Meanwhile, Core has hauled in 31 rebounds, which is the third-most in the league. Those two will keep this squad competitive day in and day out.

Meanwhile, the LA Riot fell to the Boston Ball Hogs, 51-43, last week. Dwight Howard, Jordan Crawford, and Wesley Johnson have performed well offensively. They’ve each shot at least 45% from the field this season. The defense couldn’t stop Jonathan Simmons last week, but overall, the offense should keep them around in every game.

Let’s take the Over 95.5. This should be a competitive game right through to the end.

Pick: Over 95.5 (-110)

Miami 305 vs. Dallas Power

The Miami 305 didn’t have a great start to their last game against the DMV Trilogy. They scored just 18 points in the first half and trailed by seven at the break. However, a 34-point second half helped Miami 305 defeat DMV Trilogy to go 3-1 on the season. Michael Beasley went absolutely off, scoring 30 points. He also added nine rebounds and even drilled a four-point shot.

Ultimately, Beasley and Lance Stephenson scored 43 of the 52 points. Beasley now leads the Big3 in points this season with 90.

They’ll battle the Dallas Power, who just lost to the Chicago Triplets last week. The Dallas Power got 19 points from T.J. Cline and Glen Rice Jr., but they didn’t have any depth after Paul Millsap and Greg Monroe missed the game.

Let’s take Miami 305 at -5.5. As long as Miami 305 starts the game better, they should be able to cover the spread.

Pick: Miami 305 -5.5 (-115)

Detroit Amps vs. DMV Trilogy

Last week, the Detroit Amps added their third win of the season with a 50-40 victory over the Houston Rig Hands. In fact, Detroit was the underdog and still won by ten points. Joe Johnson was still unavailable. However, Cameron Smith and Shakur Juiston added 45 points combined to help Detroit get past Houston Rig Hands.

Those two should continue to cook against a DMV Trilogy team that hasn’t won a game yet. DMV Trilogy came close against Miami 305, but allowed 34 points in the second half and blew their first-half lead.

Outside of Earl Clark and Isaiah Austin, the offense has really struggled to find consistency. I’m on Detroit at -4.5 (-115).

Pick: Detroit Amps -4.5 (-115)

Boston Ball Hogs vs. Houston Rig Hands

Last weekend, the Boston Ball Hogs got back to .500 thanks to a 51-43 win over the LA Riot. The Ball Hogs got a huge performance from Jonathan Simmons, who scored 27 points in the win. He made 12 field goals and hit just one three-pointer. But this is back-to-back weeks where Simmons was the only consistent scorer. There’s no depth, so once Simmons goes cold, you can forget about it.

On the other hand, the Houston Rig Hands had a disappointing showing last week. They lost by ten points to the Detroit Amps, who didn’t even have Joe Johnson. They’re another team without much depth. Ultimately, the Houston Rig Hands were down by nine at the break and went on to lose both halves of their most recent game.

Neither team is very attractive heading into this game. However, if nothing else, the Boston Ball Hogs have momentum from winning last week. We’ll have to hope Jonathan Simmons takes over one more time this weekend.

Pick: Boston Ball Hogs (-154)
