The long-awaited bowl season gets underway on Saturday with a little bit of something for everyone, from low-level Power 5 matchups to Group of 5 conference champions. With bowl season comes the laundry list of opt-outs and transfer portal entries, which makes the handicapping of these games an art as much as it is a science. With that being said, throughout the bowl season I will be providing my best bets for anytime TD scorers on a given gameday based on the available players for each team. It should be noted that the plus money lines for these bowl games, including anytime TD scorers, are often suppressed due to their unpredictable nature so please keep that in mind as you place your wagers. College Football Bowl Games Anytime Touchdown Scorer Picks
Starco Brands LA Bowl (7:30PM EST) - Boise State vs UCLA
The Broncos enter this bowl game on a high note as Mountain West champions, hiring the player-favorite Spencer Danielson to be their new HC after the midseason firing of former HC Andy Avalos. Despite being potentially the best RB in the nation, Ashton Jeanty announced his intentions to remain at Boise State and participate in this bowl game, which is obviously a huge boost for the Broncos. Jeanty had an injury-hampered season and still managed to run for 1,262 yards on 203 carries (6.2 YPC), netting 14 TDs on the ground. He did significant damage in the passing game as well, catching 39 balls for 552 yards and another 5 TDs. The Bruins will be without their best defender in Laiatu Latu, and their defensive coordinator also just took off to USC. Jenty's price for anytime TD is pretty steep, but I like the odds for him to score 2+ TDs here as one of the best rushers in the nation that also plays a significant role in the passing game against a UCLA defense that will be hampered with losses to both their personnel and coaching staff.
