Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat Game 5: Top NBA Prop Odds & Picks for Wednesday, May 25 (2022)

The Miami Heat and Boston Celtics are all tied up at two in the Eastern Conference Finals. The winner in tonight’s game will have the chance to close out the series in Game 6.

With so many injuries in this series, it’s hard to know who exactly will play. This series might come down to whoever is the healthier team in Game 7.

Anyway, I’ve added three player props for tonight’s game that you should consider tailing to boost your bankroll. Let’s get right to it.

Celtics vs. Heat: Robert Williams Over 15.5 Points, Rebounds
I know Williams is questionable to play today. But if he’s going to play and start, this number is too low.

Williams played just 19 minutes in Game 4 and added 12 points along with nine rebounds. He created havoc in the middle, scored easy putbacks, and got to the foul line a couple of times too.

Williams, to me, is the x-factor for the Celtics. If Boston wants to win the series, they’ll need Williams in the middle for half of the game, blocking shots, earning rebounds, and scoring putbacks.

If he added six points and 10 rebounds, that would be enough to help this line get over. And that’s completely doable.

Bet: Robert Williams Over 15.5 Points, Rebounds (-111 via FanDuel)

Celtics vs. Heat: Jaylen Brown Over 6.5 Rebounds

Jaylen Brown is dominating the glass, earning 8.5 rebounds per game in the Eastern Conference Finals. Yet, his number is sitting at 6.5 in tonight’s game. He’s literally earned seven or more rebounds in every game this series and has been extremely consistent with his minutes and aggressiveness on the glass.

Even with 29 minutes in Game 4, due to a blowout, Brown added seven rebounds. If this game stays close, as expected, Brown will surpass six rebounds and earn at least seven. Even against the Bucks, Brown averaged 7.3 rebounds per game. This number is just very low for someone as consistent as Brown.

Bet: Jaylen Brown Over 6.5 Rebounds (-118 via FanDuel)

Celtics vs. Heat: Jayson Tatum Over 28.5 Points

Jayson Tatum was so poor in Game 3 that he came out in Game 4 on a mission. Tatum added 31 points and nailed 14-of-16 from the foul line despite shooting 1-for-7 from three.

When shots weren’t falling, he was aggressive. This was what he lacked in Game 3. Tatum got to the line just four times in Game 3 and added only 10 points in that game.

Tatum comes alive in these situations and if he stays aggressive, he’ll get to the line at a high rate. Also, he’s shot 2-for-14 from three in the last two games. I’d like to think he could break out of that shooting slump in tonight’s game. He went 4-for-6 in Miami in Game 2 from downtown, for whatever that’s worth.

Bet: Jayson Tatum Over 28.5 Points (-102 via FanDuel)
