Boston Celtics vs. Miami Heat Game 6: Top NBA Prop Odds & Picks for Friday, May 27 (2022)
The Boston Celtics are one win away from earning a spot in the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors.
The Celtics have won two straight over the Heat and certainly seem to be the more healthy team as this series continues. With the Celtics at home and the spread at nearly 10 points, are the Celtics a lock to move on to the Finals?
Here are three-player props that support the Celtics winning tonightâs game with ease, as oddsmakers suggest.
Celtics vs. Heat: Jayson Tatum Over 5.5 Assists
Everyone wants Jayson Tatum to take over and score 30 points. But he hasnât shot the ball entirely well this series. It could be his right shoulder injury. Maybe itâs not. But Tatum is smart enough to know that he needs to get others involved when heâs not performing well from the field.
Game 5 was the perfect example. Tatum added nine assists along with 12 rebounds and 22 points. He scored just seven field goals and still managed to score 22 points and a near triple-double.
Tatum will get consistent minutes as long as he stays out of foul trouble. The ball continues to be in his hand at a high rate offensively too. So letâs take Tatum to get at least six assists at even money.
Bet: Jayson Tatum Over 5.5 Assists (+100 via FanDuel)
Celtics vs. Heat: Jaylen Brown Over 3.5 Three-pointers
If itâs not going to be Tatum getting hot from the field, itâs going to be Jaylen Brown instead. Brown is averaging 3.6 made three-pointers throughout the series against the Heat, and weâre getting +142 for him to legitimately hit his average in the series.
Brown has hit four or more threes in three of five games against the Heat, and if the Heat want to try and take Tatum out of the game offensively, Brown is going to step up. Heâs shooting nearly eight threes per game and has taken at least six threes in every game. Heâs consistent with his shot totals and percentages.
Letâs roll with Brown tonight as thereâs some really solid value there.
Bet: Jaylen Brown Over 3.5 Three-pointers (+142 via FanDuel)
Celtics vs. Heat: Robert Williams Over 8.5 Rebounds
Iâm all about the plus-money today. Robert Williams has proven to be the X-Factor for the Celtics recently. Heâs not going to get a whole lot of minutes every night due to a knee injury. But when heâs available, heâs creating havoc on the defensive end and earning a ton of putbacks on the offensive end.
In the regular season, Williams averaged 9.6 rebounds per game, and heâs also added at least nine rebounds in every game but one in this Eastern Conference Finals. If he gets his normal average of about 27 minutes, Williams will likely get to 10 rebounds in this game. He knows his role very well. Heâs looking to contest shots, block shots, rebound, and earn putbacks.
And heâs doing very well with all of that.
Bet: Robert Williams Over 8.5 Rebounds (+106 via FanDuel)
