NFL Week 16 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Chargers vs. Colts
After a historical collapse, we are getting the Colts at maybe their lowest point of the season. As a result, they’ve benched Matt Ryan, again, in favor of Nick Foles. I think this gives Indianapolis an advantage. Ryan has been terrible, rating the worst of any quarterback this season that has attempted 200 or more passes. In his career, Foles has famously been more than capable of walking in and playing well in a spot.
The Colts will also be without Jonathan Taylor, but this may not affect as much as the Chargers have had one of the worst run defenses in the league. The inability to stop the run has led the Chargers to playing in a lot of tight games. This one should be no different.
The Chargers, now healthier on offense should win, but expect the Colts to keep this one tight and get the cover with a likely improvement at quarterback.
