College Football Bowl Game Prop Bets Odds, Picks & Predictions: Tuesday (12/27)

College football bowl season is well into high gear, with games nearly every day except NFL Sundays. On Tuesday, there are four games beginning at 12:00 PM, with the final game kicking off at 10:15 PM.

Let’s take a closer at a few spots I’m on for Tuesday’s slate.

College Football Bowl Game Prop Bets Odds, Picks & Predictions: Tuesday (12/27)

Memphis vs. Utah State

Two teams trending in opposite directions will square off in Dallas on Tuesday, as the Memphis Tigers have been in free fall since the start of October. With Tulsa being the only Division I team they’ve beaten since October 1st, the Tigers lost their regular season finale on November 26th 31-34, continuing a trend of a defense that hasn’t been able to stop anything.

As for Utah State, things down the stretch have been much better. Also losing their regular-season finale (at Boise State 23-43), the Aggies won five of six down the stretch to clinch bowl eligibility for the second straight year. Head coach Blake Anderson should have an edge in this one, seeing this Memphis team in early 2020 while with Arkansas State.

While I do like Utah State to edge this one out, I expect a high-scoring affair. Averaging 35.1 points per game despite their losing streak down the stretch, look for one more high-powered performance from the Tigers.

Bet: Memphis Team Total – Over 27.5 (-120)

Wisconsin vs. Oklahoma State

Sitting at just 43.5, this contest has one of the lowest totals all week, but I’m not so sure it hasn’t gotten out of control. A large part of that sinking total has been the result of both teams’ starting quarterbacks hitting the transfer portal.

The Badgers are dealing with the departure of their head coach, as Luke Fickell was named as the new hire just weeks ago. With the news, plenty of players on both sides of the ball have already opted out.

The Cowboys are not without their issues as well, however, as their leading tackler Mason Cobb has already headed to the transfer portal. He joins starting running back Dominic Richardson, who led the team this year with 543 yards.

With both teams in flux, both defenses have suffered more from the regime change and portal transfers. This should spell especially bad for an Okie State defense that was already amongst the worst in college football.

Look for a concerted effort from the Badgers under Fickell’s new guidance, and for them to eclipse the low point total.

Bet: Wisconsin Team Total – Over 20.5 (-120)
