Ole Miss vs. Florida
- Tre Harris (WR – Ole Miss) | -130 (+600)
- Jaxson Dart (QB – Ole Miss) | +135 (+950)
- Ja’Kobi Jackson (RB – Florida) | +260 (+1900)
- Jadan Baugh (RB – Florida) | +175 (+1300)
With a spot in the College Football Playoff (CFP) on the line, Ole Miss will do like any good team should and lean on the team’s best players to win the game. For Ole Miss, that means trusting in the arm of Jaxson Dart - especially since Florida does not have a strong pass defense.
To that end, Dart will undoubtedly turn to his favorite target, wide receiver Tre Harris, who is expected to return to the lineup after being out for a few weeks. After being out and with what’s at stake, he’ll bring his ‘A’ game.
Dart has played a part in the run game all season and has three touchdowns to show for it, one in each of Ole Miss’s first three games. With Henry Parrish Jr. out for the season, it would not be shocking to see a playmaker like Dart come through with a rushing touchdown in a win over Florida.
As for Florida, some of their best playmakers are running backs. Since points will be hard to come by against the Ole Miss defense, it would not be shocking to see the team lean on them in the red zone.
Ja’Kobi Jackson has done the bulk of his work in the last three games, recording 37 total carries for 227 yards with a touchdown in each game. But Jadan Baugh has had the hot hand with seven touchdowns in his last four games, one against LSU and Texas with five against Kentucky.
Wake Forest vs. Miami
- Isaiah Horton (WR – Miami) | +105 (+900)
- Cam Ward (QB – Miami) | +125 (+1300)
- Demond Claiborne (RB – Wake Forest) | -155 (+800)
Miami will head into this game thinking that they must win to 1.) ensure they have a spot in the ACC title game and; 2.) so that they can keep their CFP hopes alive.
Expect the team’s biggest playmakers to make some plays as they run up the score on the Demon Deacons (i.e., Damien Martinez -340, Xavier Restrepo -210, Mark Fletcher Jr. -210). But since all three have minus-odds, I’d consider a same-game parlay with all three (+212), but that’s it.
Next to Restrepo, Isaiah Horton is the most likely of Miami’s receivers to score. While Cam Ward has not had a rushing touchdown in weeks, he is the team’s best player, and this is the biggest game of the season (so far). If anyone is going to make a play and score, it’s him.
As for Demond Claiborne, if anyone is going to score for Wake Forest, it is going to be the team’s No.1 offensive weapon.
Army vs. Notre Dame
- Riley Leonard (QB – Notre Dame) | -220 (+360)
- Riley Leonard (QB – Notre Dame) | To Score 2+ Touchdowns (+230)
- Bryson Daily (QB – Army) | -135 (+550)
Army is heading into this game to prove one of the last two undefeated teams deserves to be in the CFP conversation. If they are going to pull off an epic upset, it will be because the team’s best player and one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in the country, Bryson Daily, gets the job done.
He has scored 21 touchdowns in the eight games he has played, with at least two in every game but one and three or more in four.
Riley Leonard is a better passer than Daily, but like his Army counterpart, he does most of his damage in the run game. He has at least one sore in every game but two and scored two or more touchdowns in four.
Notre Dame has allowed seven rushing touchdowns this season; Army has allowed three.
