College Football First & Anytime Touchdown Scorer Picks: Week 14 (2024)

It is Rivalry Week, which means fans can count on seeing some of the most wildly entertaining games of the season. While rivalry games are fun to watch, betting on them can be challenging since they are notoriously unpredictable. However, one aspect of Rivalry Week is not unpredictable-scoring.

Touchdowns will be scored, making NCAAF first and anytime touchdown scorer props some of the most intriguing bets of the day.

Week 14 Best College Football First & Anytime Touchdown Scorer Picks

Here are a few of our favorites for Saturday’s NCAAF slate.

(Odds via FanDuel Sportsbook)

Michigan vs. Ohio State

After losing three straight to the Wolverines, this is Ohio State’s year to get back on the winning side of this rivalry. Like always, the Buckeyes have one of the more explosive offenses in college football. Michigan, however, has struggled on offense and has been ‘okay’ on defense on its best days.

Michigan has been good against the run this season, which makes me reluctant to recommend Ohio State’s running backs (especially since Judkins and Henderson both have minus-money odds). But I can see Will Howard trying to put his stamp on the rivalry with a rushing touchdown (he has seven).

However, nearly two-thirds of the touchdowns the Wolverines defense has given up this year have been via the passing game (17 of 27). Smith and Egbuka both have nine touchdowns this season and will likely be Will Howard’s favorite targets in the end zone, making them solid bets to consider.

However, if you want to go with one over the other, Smith (a freshman) has scored in one of the last four games, while Egbuka (three) has scored in three of his last four.

UTSA vs. Army

  • Bryson Daily (QB – Army)

Even in a tough game like last week’s loss to Notre Dame, the Army quarterback ran for two touchdowns, giving him multiples in every game he played in but one. UTSA has a winning record (6-5), but there is no reason to think that the Roadrunners will slow down one of the best scoring machines in college football.

Daily, will get two, if not more, in this game.

South Carolina vs. Clemson

  • Raheim Sanders (RB – South Carolina) | -220 (+400)
  • Antonio Williams (WR – Clemson) | +115 (+750)
  • LaNorris Sellers (QB – South Carolina) | +155 (+900)
  • Joshua Simon (TE – South Carolina) | +210 (+1200)

Clemson has been a bit stingy on the ground, allowing just 11 rushing touchdowns in the year, but Sanders has been a beast in his senior season with 11 touchdowns in the year, with at least one in five of his last six games. Sellers has five this season, with one in two of his last four games. But with how well he’s played over the last few weeks, it would not be shocking to see the young freshman introduce himself to this rivalry in style.

As for Simon, the senior tight end has come on strong down the stretch with at least one touchdown in his last four games. Since 18 of the 29 touchdowns allowed by the Clemson defense this season have been via the passing game, we like his chances to get another one in this contest.

I did not include Clemson running back Phil Mafah on this list because he had three games in a row with two touchdowns in each, but he has yet to score in his last three. With minus money anytime touchdown scorer odds, it just isn’t worth it.

Williams, however, scored five touchdowns across three of his last four games. Even though South Carolina has been hard to score on in the passing game (nine allowed), Williams appears to be the most reliable option for the Tigers.
