Kevin Jennings 275+ Passing Yards (-120 at Fanatics Sportsbook)
Kevin Jennings has thrown for 430 yards (Florida State) and 337 yards (UC Davis). SMU currently has a 56% pass rate with a game environment of 59.5 and a 1.5 spread.
Louisville surrendered 336 passing yards to Trinidad Chambliss and is currently ranked 118th, allowing 257 passing yards per game. Against FBS teams, SMU ran 67 offensive plays; Louisville ran 68.
Jelani Thurman Over 44.5 Receiving Yards (+110 at FanDuel Sportsbook)
The beast has been unleashed in Chapel Hill. Jelani Thurman has produced games of 94 and 71 yards on four receptions, with eight and four targets, respectively.
Thurman currently leads the team in target share. Trey'Dez Green had four catches for 58 yards versus Clemson. Clemson ranks 130th, allowing 289.5 receiving yards per game.
Sam Leavitt Over 32.5 Pass Attempts (-108 at DraftKings Sportsbook)
Sam Leavitt has cleared this line in one of two games to start the season. He cleared it against Louisiana Tech, which was a more competitive game for longer than against Clemson.
LSU goes on the road to Oxford in Lane Kiffin’s return game with a 3.5-point spread and a total of 58.5 points. This should be a high-tempo game, as LSU runs the second-most plays per game (92), and Ole Miss ranks 61st with 68.5 plays per game.
Ole Miss ranks outside of the top 100 in passing and rushing yards allowed. I’m expecting them to focus more on shutting down the run and putting the game in Leavitt’s hands, since he already has four interceptions.
