College Football Player Props: Fiesta Bowl

Trinidad Chambliss Over 254.5 Passing Yards (-115 at bet365)

Trinidad Chambliss threw for fewer than 250 yards just once this season, when he went for just 159 against South Carolina (but they ran 45 times for 245 yards). While Miami's defense manhandled Texas A&M and Ohio State, the Aggies threw for 237 yards, and the Buckeyes had 287 passing yards.

Ole Miss has a better passing game than both. Chambliss will easily clear 254.5 yards.

Kewan Lacy Under 87.5 Rushing Yards (-115 at bet365)

Kewan Lacy was one of the best running backs in the country this season and went for 87+ yards in nine out of 14 games. In the postseason, he has gone for 87 and 98. But the Miami defense held Ohio State to 45 net yards rushing and Texas A&M to 89. The Hurricanes’ run defense has stepped up in the CFP.

Ole Miss will run enough to keep the Miami defense honest, but don't expect much from Lacy.

De’Zhaun Stribling Over 49.5 Receiving Yards (-130 at BetMGM) & Over 3.5 Receptions (-160 at bet365)

De’Zhaun Stribling had four or more catches and 66+ yards in his last four games, including seven catches for 122 yards versus Georgia and five for 79 yards against Tulane. Miami is great against the run, which will mean Ole Miss may lean on the passing game even more, making it likely Stribling goes over these numbers again.

Malachi Toney Under 6.5 Receptions (-125 at bet365) & Under 60.5 Receiving Yards (-115 at bet365)

Malachi Toney is the darling of the Miami offense, and the one player the Hurricanes will make a serious effort to get the ball to. However, Texas A&M and Ohio State shut him down in the passing game. Texas A&M held him to five catches for 22 yards, while Ohio State kept him to just 16 yards on five catches. Ole Miss does not have as good a pass defense as either, but I expect Miami will run more than pass.

Mark Fletcher Jr. Over 88.5 Rushing Yards (-114 at FanDuel Sportsbook) & Over 18.5 Rushing Attempts (-115 at bet365)

Mark Fletcher Jr. ran for 90 yards against Ohio State's top-10 run defense in the quarter-final game and 172 yards against Texas A&M. Ole Miss is giving up 146 yards a game, and Miami will likely try to focus on the run game to keep Trinidad Chambliss off the field. Miami will need to establish the run in this game.

After giving him the ball 17 and 19 times in the last two games and getting good results, Miami will do it again in this game (if they want to win).
