Saturday’s Best College Football Same Game Parlays (Week 5)

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook | All bets are for 1 unit

Fresno State Bulldogs (+100) at Washington State Cougars (-120) | O/U 45.5 (-105/-115)

  • Leg 1: Fresno State Moneyline (+100)
  • Leg 2: Over 45.5 Points (-105)
  • Leg 3: Caden Pinnick Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-125)

At 9:30 p.m. ET in Pullman, the Bulldogs pull into town to take on the Cougars in a conference opener in the new-look Pac-12.

Fresno State worked over Rice 38-24 as a 12.5-point favorite, winning and covering for the third consecutive game after getting belted 39-0 at USC in the opener. The over and under has alternated in each of the past four outings. And, after getting blanked by the Trojans, the Bulldogs have averaged 37.7 points per game (PPG) in the past three outings.

Washington State was tripped up 34-24 by Arizona last Saturday as those former Pac-12 teams renewed acquaintances in Pullman last Saturday. Despite the loss, Wazzu cashed as 11.5-point underdogs, moving to 3-1 against the spread (ATS) in the past four outings. The Oover has cashed in the past two games, too, as Washington State is averaging 36 PPG in the past two games, but that’s bumped up by a rout of Duquesne of the FCS.

Let’s roll with Fresno State in Saturday’s game at even-money, while looking to the over, as it is Pac-12 After Dark, after all.

I cannot stress enough about the third leg of our parlay, the player prop portion. Go extremely aggressively on this end all on its own, in addition to tossing into the parlay. Washington State’s Caden Pinnick has rushed for touchdowns in three of the first four games.

Parlay Odds: +533

Texas State Bobcats (-465) at San Diego State Aztecs (+350) | O/U 56.5 (-106/-114)

  • Leg 1: San Diego State +9.5 (-115)
  • Leg 2: Under 57.5 Points (-115)
  • Leg 3: San Diego State Under 173.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

In another Pac-12 After Dark battle, the first-ever for Texas State and San Diego State, these two meet for a 10:30 p.m. ET kickoff at Snapdragon Stadium on The CW Network.

Texas State lost to Texas and UTSA in the first two games, while going 0-2 ATS. However, the Bobcats have scored 112 points in the past two wins over North Texas and Incarnate World, while covering both games. The over is 3-1 in four game this season, too.

For San Diego State, it was crushed 41-16 at Toledo last week, and it has dropped three in a row, while going 0-4 ATS overall this season. Against the FBS, the Aztecs have lost all three outings, too. The over and under have split 2-2 through four games.

In FBS games, the Aztecs have allowed 31.7 PPG in three outings, too, while the offense has musted just 13 PPG. That’s not a great recipe for victories, and it’s only win came against Portland State of the FCS on September 5th. The Aztecs still allowed 20 points in that game, too.

Call me crazy, but San Diego State should be able to keep it within single digits, and I could even see a scenario where it wins outright. At any rate, catching 9.5 points is quite a bit much for the home side. And, we’ll go low on the total, as the Aztecs have struggled to score points.

Texas State has allowed just 121 rushing yards per game, so let’s consider going with the under on San Diego State’s rushing yardage total.

Parlay Odds: +547

Cincinnati Bearcats (+300) at Arizona Wildcats (-385) | O/U 48.5 (-106/-114)

  • Leg 1: Cincinnati +6.5 (-105)
  • Leg 2: Over 55.5 Points (-114)
  • Leg 3: Gi’Bran Payne Under 68.5 Rushing Yards (-114)

In a Big 12 battle from Tucson, the Bearcats put their unbeaten record on the line against the Wildcats.

Cincinnati has posted a 3-1 ATS mark, and it has scored 31+ points in all four games so far this season, averaging 33.4 PPG in three games against FBS opponents, while allowing 24 PPG The over is 3-0 in the past three games for the Bearcats, too.

As far as the Wildcats are concerned, while they’re 3-1 SU, Arizona is 0-4 ATS in four games, while splitting the over/under 2-2. Arizona has scored 34+ points in three of four games this season, too.

These teams met for the first time ever last season on November 15th, with Arizona coming away with a 30-24 win as 5.5-point underdogs as the under (56.5) cashed at Nippert Stadium.

Cincinnati will score plenty, and give up plenty. I’ll take the Bearcats to keep it within a touchdown, and let’s go over on the total.

As far as the player prop, Cincinnati rrunning back Gi’Bran Payne faces tough sledding against the Arizona defense. The Wildcats have allowed just 80.3 rushing yards per game, 12th-best in the nation. Let’s go low on Payne’s total.

Parlay Odds: +649
