Rutgers vs. Kansas State

  • Leg 1: Kansas State -7 (-108)
  • Leg 2: Kansas State Over 27.5 Points  (-150)
  • Leg 3: Over 50 Points (-110)

A few important people at Kansas State have opted out of this game, including star running back DJ Giddens, as he prepares for the 2025 NFL Draft. However, what's most important is that Avery Johnson will be on the field.

This is someone who could take over the game no matter who's playing with him or is on the other side of the field. He can beat you on the ground or in the air with 2,500+ passing yards, 500+ rushing yards and 28 total touchdowns.

Rutgers might have trouble figuring out how to stop Johnson with a defense ranked 71st in net expected points added (EPA). They also allowed 5.0 yards per rush this season, which ranked 103rd. While they saw the eighth-fewest rushing attempts per game (29.8), they might see plenty of carries from the Wildcats.

They needed Kyle Monangai to play to balance out that offense, but he has opted out of the game. KSU is excellent on defense overall and ranks 35th in net defensive EPA. If you let this team focus on stopping one part of the offense, Rutgers could be in trouble.

No matter what, it will be tough against Kansas State. The Wildcats look good to close out the season strong.
