College Football Same Game Parlays & Picks: Sheraton Hawai’i Bowl
(Odds courtesy of bet365)
SGP No. 1: Betting on Hawaii
Leg 1: Hawai'i -1 (-110)
Hawaii has home-field advantage. Their four losses were all on the road this season. Teams often seemed to struggle with making the long trip to the island, and that will be enough to give the Rainbow Warriors enough of an edge to win.
Leg 2: Over 50.5 Points (-110)
The total opened at 54.5 points but has since dropped to 50.5, which suggests quite a few bettors must have taken the under. But we've got two really good offensive teams that I expect to let it rip for this game, one that is often a high-scoring thrill ride. Eleven of the last 12 Hawai'i Bowls went well over this total, as will this one.
Leg 3: Micah Alejado Over 254.5 Passing Yards (-115)
Micahe Alejado has gone over this mark in six of his last seven games and threw for 300+ yards in four of them. Cal's defense may slow him down, but they are not going to stop him.
Leg 4: Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele Under 275.5 Passing Yards (-115)
Cal averaged 270 yards per game, but this total has Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele besting his season average. He went over it in just three of his last nine games. He'll have a solid day, but the defense of Hawaii will keep him from going off. Take the under.
Parlay Odds: +1150 - A $100 wager will result in a $1,250 payday; your stake plus $1,150 in winnings.
SGP No. 2: Betting on Cal
Leg 1: Cal Moneyline (+100)
This is going to be a fun game to watch with a lot of fast-paced action and points. It will probably be won by whoever has the ball last. At plus-money odds, I see value in betting on Cal to be that team.
Leg 2: Over 50.5 Points (-110)
With two pass-happy teams facing off, I expect to see both teams in the end zone early and often. Yes, they each had solid defenses in the regular season, but I don't see either slowing the other side down much in this game.
Leg 3: Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele 275+ Passing Yards (+140)
Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele averaged under this number during the regular season but went over it in three of his last six games. To keep up with Hawaii (or do better) in this game, he'll need to have another big day.
Parlay Odds: +575 - A $100 wager will result in a $675 payday; your stake plus $575 in winnings.
