Top College Football Odds & Picks: Week 10
Georgia State vs. UConn
UConn will look to clinch its second bowl bid in three years against a Georgia State team that’s struggled mightily to defend the run, yielding over five yards per carry on the ground to opposing rushing attacks. That spells doom against a Huskies offense that ranks inside the top 40 nationally in rushing yards per game. It feels strange saying this, but I’ll lay over a touchdown with UConn.
Pick: UConn -7.5

South Florida vs. Florida Atlantic
The Bulls hit the road for Boca Raton to battle the Owls in this AAC league game. South Florida will have revenge on its mind, too, after being embarrassed 56-14 at home in Tampa last season against FAU. It was one of few bright spots for the Owls a season ago. While the Bulls have failed to cover in four consecutive outings, it did win 35-25 against UAB last week in Tampa. The offense finally look like it figured things out after a difficult time in three games from late September to mid-October when USF managed just 28 total points, or 9.3 PPG. FAU has scored 37 or more points in two of the past three games, but it has allowed 38 or more points in three straight games against FBS opponents. South Florida is looking to get the job done and get back to .500. FAU is desperate for a win, but the offense has really missed WR LaJohntay Wester, who transferred to Colorado. He was able to spread the field last season, but no one has been able to step up and fill that giant void.
Pick: USF -2.5

San Diego State vs. Boise State
This is a tricky spot for the Broncos, who may very well control their destiny to the College Football Playoff. Boise State is coming off a crucial Mountain West victory over UNLV. Now, they’ll face an Aztecs team that’s covered its last three games as an underdog, including covering a 17-point spread against Washington State last week. While the San Diego State defense isn’t elite against the run, it should be good enough not to get run all over by Heisman hopeful Ashton Jeanty. I would take the Aztecs at +24 or better, but I feel more confident in the under, considering the potential emotional letdown for the Broncos.
Pick: Under 57.5
