College Football Week 2 Anytime Touchdown Scorer Odds & Picks (2023)
Last weekend, I went 2-1 for my anytime touchdown picks for the opening weekend of College Football. Let me just shout out Michigan wide receiver Rowan Wilson for not just scoring one touchdown but three total touchdowns against East Carolina. However, there won’t be any Michigan players on my bet slip this weekend despite a favorable matchup against UNLV.
Instead, there are much more favorable games from the overall spread that include players that I like to score. So, let’s jump into my three favorite players to score a touchdown during the second week of College Football:

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Notre Dame vs. NC State
Through two games for the Fighting Irish, running back Audirc Estime has posted back-to-back rushing touchdowns. For the third week in a row, I expect another touchdown. So far this season, Estime is averaging 7.3 yards per carry and should be able to find success against the Wolfpack. He has 29 total carries so far this season. He's proven he can be the lead back for the Irish, so the volume should be there for another game.
NC State gave up 160 rushing yards (6.2 yards per carry) to UConn last week. Meanwhile, the two touchdowns the Wolfpack gave up were on the ground. Estime should be able to find the end zone this weekend.
** NOTE ** I love N.C. State QB Brennan Armstrong to rush for over 31.5 yards (-110). He averaged over 40 rushing yards per game a season ago for Virginia, and he posted 96 rushing yards in the first game this year. If you parlay Armstrong for rushing yards and Estime to score, you should get about +245 odds on a Same Game Parlay (SGP).
Bet: Audric Estime (RB, Notre Dame) Over 0.5 Rushing Touchdowns (-125)
Alabama vs. Texas
While the chalk play for an anytime touchdown is Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, I think you should roll the dice on receiver Xavier Worthy to score. The talented Texas wide receiver has terrific speed and can fly down the field. In high school, his PR for the 100-meter dash was 10.55 seconds. There's potential for Worthy to be the fastest player in the 2024 NFL Draft if he declares.
We know Alabama always has talent on both sides of the football, but trying to contain Worthy will be tough. Against Alabama last year, he had five receptions for 97 yards, and even though he didn't score in that game, he did have nine receiving touchdowns in 2022.
Bet: Xavier Worthy (WR, Texas) Anytime Touchdown (+120)
Nebraska vs. Colorado
Will Colorado continue their momentum and keep proving people wrong? It certainly feels that way, as I don't believe Nebraska is a very good team after how they played against Minnesota.
That said, Colorado has lightning in a bottle with running back Dylan Edwards. Last week against TCU, Edwards had a rushing touchdown and three receiving touchdowns. Whether it be in the red zone or 75 yards downfield, he has big-play potential. Coming out of high school, Edwards beat five-star athlete Nyckoles Harbor in the finals of the Under Armour All-American Game fastest man competition. It was reported that Edwards ran the 40-yard dash in 4.41 seconds.
Even though the Nebraska defense only gave up 55 rushing yards last week against Minnesota, the Colorado offense is much more dynamic. I'd put trust in Edwards being able to break one on either a run or pass play.
Bet: Dylan Edwards (RB, Colorado) Anytime Touchdown (-125)
