Tennessee vs. Oklahoma

  • Leg 1: Tenneesse First Half -3.5  (-118)
  • Leg 2: Nico Iamaleava 2+ Passing Touchdowns (-165)
  • Leg 3: Under 57 (-112)

This is an important game for a couple of reasons. The first is it's Nico Iamaleava's SEC debut. The Volunteers young quarterback has been talked about since he made his debut in last year's bowl game, and he's carried that over into this season. The level of competition hasn't been great, but 682 passing yards and six touchdowns while sitting in the second half of two games is impressive.

This whole team has been fantastic. They're the top-scoring offense at 63.7 points per game, third in points allowed per game (4.3), and have only given up one touchdown.

Another first is Oklahoma’s SEC debut. The Sooners are also sitting at 3-0, but it’s been a difficult road to 3-0 at times. In Week 2, they didn't score a touchdown in the second half against Houston, and in Week 3, they didn't pull away from Tulane until late in the fourth quarter.

This is one of the most competitive conferences in college football. They have four top-ten teams on their schedule, including their biggest rival, No. 1 Texas.

Quarterback Jackson Arnold is unlike last year's Oklahoma QB Dillion Gabriel because he can't make the big throw. Along with Jovantae Barnes and Taylor Tatum, they will try to grind it on the ground.

The question will be whether Iamaleava can step up against a legitimate defense, and I think he will do well. Although Tennessee has been able to light up the opposition, that won't be the case in this game.
