College Football Week 6 Picks: Best Early Bets (2026)

The 2026 college football season continues to roll along, heading into a Week 6 slate with notable matchups featuring No. 2 Georgia vs. No. 6 Alabama and No. 21 UCLA vs. No. 13 Oregon, and No. 7 Indiana vs. undefeated Nebraska.

My College Football Week 5 Picks: Best Early Bets (2026) settled 1-2. We cashed Kentucky +3.0 during the Wildcats’ comeback win in overtime against South Carolina. Home underdogs cost us, as Iowa +13.5 and Mississippi State +6.0 both lost by a big margin to Ohio State and Alabama.

Let’s reload with three of my favorite early wagers for Week 6. I’ll walk through line movement and analysis in each of these best bets for Saturday’s upcoming college football slate.

                                      Indiana (7) vs. Nebraska

Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule was busy in the transfer portal this offseason, and its seemingly paid off. QB Anthony Colandrea has thrown 1,142 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions, while logging 6.6 YPC with over 38 carries for the Cornhuskers.

While the schedule has been favorable, Nebraska has a ton of momentum heading into its biggest game of the season at home against No. 7 Indiana on Saturday. The defending champs are also undefeated, although the Hoosiers will face a Cornhuskers defense that has not allowed more than 2 touchdowns in a game this season.

The line has already steamed toward Nebraska, dropping from +9.5 to +7.0. Let’s grab this number while the Cornhuskers are still a full touchdown underdog at home in Lincoln.

Bet Nebraska +7.0 at even odds (+100) against Indiana to start off our Week 6 betting card.

                                      Pick: Nebraska +7.0 (+100)

                                      UCLA (21) vs. Oregon (13)

Dylan Raiola has taken over QB1 in Oregon, leading the Ducks to a decisive 41-27 road win over USC in their last outing. Now, with an off-week to prep, Oregon returns home to Autzen Stadium to face an undefeated UCLA program.

The Bruins have been balling under new head coach Bob Chesney. UCLA ranks 7th in scoring offense, averaging 44.8 points per game, as QB Nico Iamaleava has returned to the form we saw during his previous time at Tennessee.

RB Wayne Knight also has 9.1 YPC and 9 rushing touchdowns, followed by RB Anthony Woods, averaging 7.5 YPC. Oregon’s run defense has been good, although they did get exploited by Oklahoma State for 5.2 YPC back in Week 2.

UCLA’s schedule has been soft, facing Purdue and Maryland to open up Big 10 play. However, the Bruins have held opponents under 3.0 YPC and enter this matchup with an impressive +8 turnover differential.

+11.5 is too many points to ignore for a quality program ascending under a new head coach with a former CFP-caliber quarterback under center. T

Take the points with the Bruins and bet +11.5 at -110 odds.

                                      Pick: UCLA +11.5 (-110)

                                      Georgia (2) vs. Alabama (6)

A prime-time SEC showdown will be appointment television when a pair of undefeated blue bloods go head-to-head in Tuscaloosa. Alabama just blew out Kamario Taylor’s Mississippi State Bulldogs on the road, hanging 56 points, while scoring 7 offensive touchdowns.

Keelon Russell is the real deal. The Crimson Tide’s quarterback is averaging 5.0 YPC with 4 rushing touchdowns, while throwing for over 1,400 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions with a 71 percent completion rate.

Georgia’s been equally dominant under QB Gunner Stockton. However, the Bulldogs’ schedule has been considerably easier, facing a bad Oklahoma offense, Vanderbilt, and Arkansas to open up conference play.

Alabama is adversity-tested, erasing deficits against Kentucky and Florida State. They’ve blown out South Carolina and a surging Mississippi State team in their previous 2 outings.

The Crimson Tide are also holding opponents to a stingy 1.9 YPC. Factor in home-field advantage, and head coach Kalen DeBoer’s Crimson Tide should wind up with another victory to improve to 6-0 in 2026.

Bet on Alabama’s moneyline at -115 odds.

                                      Pick: Alabama Moneyline (-115)
