Early NFL Best Bets & Trends for Week 7 (2025)

Last week’s early NFL best bets were 2-0! The Steelers (-4.5) took care of business against the Browns in a divisional rivalry matchup. Meanwhile, the Titans and Raiders went under 41.5 points to secure consecutive wins, using key data points. Let’s keep the momentum going this week. I’ve added my early NFL best bets for Week 7 below.

Early Week 7 NFL Best Bets & Trends

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

New England Patriots at Tennessee Titans

The New England Patriots opened as a 6.5-point favorite (-115) against the Tennessee Titans on the road. Since then, they’ve already jumped to -6.5 (-130). It’s only a matter of time until the Patriots reach -7.

New England is 4-2 and has won three straight games over Carolina, Buffalo, and New Orleans. The Patriots have won back-to-back road games and will aim for a third consecutive road win this weekend.

During the three-game winning streak, the Patriots have scored at least 23 points in all three games. They’ve also limited opponents to no more than 20 points in all three games. Ultimately, Drake Maye has thrown for over 1,500 yards through six games. He’s also added ten touchdowns with only two interceptions. He’s becoming the real deal. It just took a second season and another coaching staff to do it.

That said, Maye and the Patriots will battle rookie Cam Ward of the Titans. Ward has shown some promise, but there’s no consistency. He’s thrown more interceptions than touchdown passes, and now we don’t even know if Calvin Ridley, his top wideout, will be available for this game after sustaining an injury last week.

If it weren’t for some luck a couple of weeks ago, the Titans would still be looking for their first win of the season. Ultimately, Tennessee just fell 20-10 against the Raiders and played three consecutive games on the road. The Titans have lost by double-digits countless times this season. The one win this year was ultimately a fluke against the Cardinals. Arizona lost the game itself. Tennessee didn’t win it with some incredible play. The Cardinals shot themselves in the foot in Tennessee’s lone win.

I’ll back the Patriots at -6.5 (-130) before it reaches that 7 number.

Pick: Patriots -6.5 (-130)

New York Giants at Denver Broncos

The New York Giants are a fun football team to watch now. Sure, Malik Nabers is out for the season, but rookies Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo have brought life to this team. The Giants are coming off a home win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night. Meanwhile, they’ll take on a Broncos team that barely escaped the New York Jets in London.

Yes, the Broncos are home for this one, but the extra travel from London won’t help. In addition, the Giants got to stay in the States, giving them additional time to prepare for this game.

Ultimately, the Broncos’ defense will be a test for the Giants. Denver added nine sacks last week against the Jets and has allowed no more than 17 points in three straight games. Still, the Giants’ offense has a lot of confidence and looked elite against the Philadelphia Eagles in primetime. The rookies love the spotlight and should put the Giants in the best position to win this game.

I’m on the Giants at +6.5 (+105).

Pick: Giants +6.5 (+105)
