The Vikings are 10-0 this season in one score games, and just orchestrated the greatest comeback in NFL history at the expense of the Colts. Minnesota does not get the typical respect of an 11-3 team because they’re undeserving of it, but they do deserve to be favored by more in this spot.
Both of these teams are beneficiaries of fortune, though the Vikings are getting sold short because of it. Minnesota has a clear edge at QB, and has the advantage of playing at home on extended rest. Further, the Giants lack the necessary personnel to stall the Vikings’ passing attack, and the team’s inclination to blitz should favor Minnesota.
