Tulane is already ranked 17th in the AP Poll and is on an eight-game winning streak. Ultimately, the offense continues to produce on the ground, earning 227.09 yards per game this season. In Tulane's last game against Navy, the Green Wave threw it 14 times and rushed 48 times in the win. It's not always the theme, but it's typical of Tulane. This is how they've limited interceptions so well. On the other hand, Memphis is also 9-2, but both losses came in conference play. The Tigers won't be playing for the AAC Championship but should at least get to play in an exciting bowl game. Most recently, Memphis tallied 53 against UAB and scored 28 points in the fourth quarter. They've accumulated more than 35 points per game this season. But because it's safer to take them straight-up without points, you'll have to risk more when you make the bet - remember, they're seven points better than Illinois in the eyes of the oddsmakers. In this case, Cal is -280 on the moneyline, so if you want to win $100, you have to risk $280. On the flip side, moneyline bets can be valuable when taking the underdog because it's a riskier bet - they're seven points worse than their opponent. In this case, Illinois is the underdog - +220 on the moneyline. You'd win $220 on a $100 bet if you picked Illinois on the moneyline and they pulled off the upset.
