(7) Missouri vs. (15) Princeton
Leg 1 â Princeton +6.5 (-118)
The Princeton Tigers managed to upset the Arizona Wildcats, but the journey might not end here. Princeton should have plenty of success on the offensive end as long as they limit turnovers. Missouri has earned 24.3% of turnovers but have allowed teams to shoot 34.9% from long range and 52.3% from inside the arc. Theyâve also given up 37% of offensive rebounds.
Princeton should win the glass. They have held teams to 22.7% of offensive rebounds and limited teams to 32.7% from three and 47.3% from inside the arc.
As long as Princeton keeps the turnovers down, theyâll move on to the Sweet 16.
Leg 2 â Over 145.5 (-110)
Missouri has been terrible on defense but fantastic on offense all year long. They wonât earn many second chances or even get to the foul line at a high rate. Still, theyâll score points.
Missouri has nailed 36.2% from deep and 56% from inside the arc. Theyâve also shot 75.5% from the foul line. Missouri will be okay offensively. The defense is just so miserable that Princeton should be able to shoot around the same percentage while also earning more second chances and foul calls.
Iâll take the Over in this matchup.
Leg 3 â Kobe Brown Over 14.5 Points (-150)
Even though I like Princeton to pull off a wacky upset, Missouri is still going to score. Kobe Brown has averaged nearly 16 points per game this season for Missouri. Heâs coming off a 19-point performance against Utah State in which he was just unconscious in the second half.
Brown will get his usual ten shots per game. Heâs been very efficient offensively and can hit shots at a very high rate. He will also see over 30 minutes in this game and the pace of play should pick up when Missouri is trailing. Theyâll usually look to Brown to get home from the field when Missouri struggles. It usually works.
Brown has an offensive rating of 126.1. Thatâs in the top 100 of all college basketball. Itâs just a matter of getting him the ball. The game plan for Missouri should be just that after watching him lead Missouri to a big win in the Round of 64.
Take Brownâs Over to finish off this parlay.
