Friday’s Best MLB Betting System Plays
Here are our top plays of the day from the popular MLB betting systems at BettingPros.
MLB Hits Under Plus Odds
- +212.31 units over last year
The MLB Hits Under Plus Odds DD system has cashed in a 4.9% ROI on 2,922 wagers this season. While the win percentage is only 45.8%, bettors have profited 143.71 units by using this system throughout the season.
This system has ten different plays that you can back for tonight. Meanwhile, the criteria is simple. The player’s under on hits must be +101 or worse and the player must have earned the Over on his hits less than 40% of the time. In addition, the player must have lacked hits in the following:
- Last 5 Games: Over in 0 to 2
- Last 10 Games: Over in 0 to 4
- Last 15 Games: Over in 0 to 6
- Last 20 Games: Over in 0 to 8
I’m eying Patrick Bailey of the Giants here. The Giants face Dylan Cease of the Padres, who is never easy to hit. That said, Bailey has added a .077 ISO and wOBA of .279 with 26.8% of strikeouts against righties over the last month. On the other hand, Cease has held his last 59 lefties to 50% of ground balls and just 16.7% of fly balls.
Take Bailey to go Under .5 Hits at +130 odds.
- Patrick Bailey Under .5 Hits (+130)
Damato Strikeout Unders
- +96.14 units over last year
Take a look at the Damato Strikeout Unders system. This system has brought in an ROI of 10.6, betting on Unders on strikeouts.
The cost for the player must be -150 to +130, and the player must have hit his Over in less than 48% of games. More criteria are below:
- Last 5 Games: Over in 0 to 2
- Last 10 Games: Over in 0 to 4
- Last 20 Games: Over in 0 to 9
The prop that got my attention was Julian Aguiar’s Under 3.5 Strikeouts. Aguiar will take the hill for the Reds, but he’s only recorded 11.7% of strikeouts over the last month. He’s also allowed a .235 ISO and wOBA of .350 and has allowed 33.8% of fly balls with just 8.9% of swinging strikes.
Meanwhile, he’s in line to face the Minnesota Twins, who should have at least four batters in the lineup with strikeout rates no higher than 15.9%. Let’s back Aguiar to go Under 3.5 Ks at +115 odds.
- Julian Aguiar Under 3.5 Ks (+115)
Road Underdogs After a Loss
- +33.24 units over last year
This system looks at teams on the road who are underdogs after a loss. Throughout the season. There have been 642 bets that fit the description. Those 642 returned an ROI of 5.9% and have added nearly 38 units of profit.
Tonight, three teams fit the description. But I’ll zero in on the Royals as underdogs against the Pirates tonight.
Kansas City is in line to face Luis L. Ortiz of the Pirates, who has allowed a .219 ISO and wOBA of .338 to his last 37 righties.
The Royals should have more righties than lefties in the lineup, including Bobby Witt Jr., who has slugged a .307 ISO and wOBA of .377 against his last 82 righties.
On the other hand, Alec Marsh will get the call for the Royals. He’s a righty who has limited walks. He’s also pitched very effectively against righties as of late. The Pirates will also have more righties than lefties in the lineup tonight. Let’s back the Royals at +105.
- Royals (+105)
