MLB Home Run Props & Picks: Dodgers vs. Brewers (Sunday)

I’d advise everyone to stay calm in the home run department tonight. The Brewers and Dodgers are both throwing their aces, who have pitched incredibly all season. We might not even get a home run tonight. That said, I’ve still added the three best MLB home run props for tonight’s slate. Just tread lightly.

Sunday’s Best MLB Home Run Props & Picks

    (Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

    Jake Bauers (+680)

Jake Bauers has smashed left-handed pitching as a left-handed batter. Bauers has a .368 ISO and a wOBA of .458 against his last 22 lefties. He’ll take on Tarik Skubal, who is also a lefty.

Skubal has allowed a .375 batting average on balls in play (BABIP) to his last 25 lefties and has allowed 37.5% of fly balls to lefties in the last month. He also allowed a .149 ISO to lefties and 153 lefties this season, and over 40% of hard contact to lefties throughout the season.

Ultimately, Bauers has hit 26.7% of fly balls and 73.3% of hard contact with a 13.3% barrel rate against lefties. He’s got a chance. to go deep

    Andy Pages (+920)

Andy Pages might bat ninth in tonight’s lineup. But he has insane potential - .350 ISO and .450 wOBA against his last 27 righties as a right-handed batter. Pages has also hit 33.3% of fly balls, 60% of hard contact and a 13.3% barrel rate.

That said, Pages will battle Jacob Misiorowski of the Brewers, who has allowed a .330 wOBA and a .435 BABIP to his last 32 righties. He has also given up close to 48% of hard contact, with 39.1% of line drives.

Pages has some sneaky potential, especially at +920.

    Teoscar Hernandez (+710)

I’ll also add Teoscar Hernandez to the list. He’s another right-handed batter who has been successful against righties in the last month. Hernandez has a .222 ISO and a .333 wOBA against his last 49 righties, while hitting 30% of fly balls. He has a 16.7% barrel rate and has hit 63.3% of hard contact against righties in the last 30 days.

Jacob Misiorowski allowed a higher ISO to righties than lefties throughout the season, despite being a right-handed pitcher. He has less success against righties, allowing a .282 BABIP with 25% of line drives.

Let’s give Hernandez a shot to launch one. He’s an intriguing option, especially once the Brewers go to the bullpen.
