Monday’s Best MLB Home Run Props & Picks

    (Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

    Junior Caminero (+300

Junior Caminero has had an insane two weeks at the plate. He’ll look to continue his dominant stretch with a matchup against Cam Schlittler of the New York Yankees. Schlittler is one of the best young pitchers in the game. However, as a right-handed pitcher, he’s allowed a .240 ISO and a wOBA of .382 against his last 54 righties faced.

He’ll take on Caminero, who has posted a .427 ISO and a .448 wOBA against his last 85 righties. The right-handed slugger has hit 28.1% of fly balls and 73.7% of hard contact. Caminero has also hit a 15.8% barrel percentage against righties over the last month. At +300, I’ll take my chances with the hottest hitter in baseball.

    Luis Garcia (+400

Luis Garcia is also one of the hottest hitters in baseball. In fact, he’s hit a .539 ISO and a wOBA of .518 against his last 80 right-handed pitchers faced. Garcia has limited strikeouts to 13.2% and has hit 27.7% of fly balls and 49.2% of hard contact against righties in the last 30 days.

He’s slated to face Mike Burrows of the Astros, who has allowed a .170 ISO and a .353 wOBA against his last 53 lefties. Burrows has given up over 61% of hard contact and nearly 31% of fly balls to lefties over the last 30 days. He’s also added just 15.1% of strikeouts against righties and has earned below 10% of swinging strikes.

Garcia can certainly get ahold of one.

    Teoscar Hernandez (+300

Teoscar Hernandez just recently joined the Dodgers lineup after spending a good portion of the season on the Injured List. Anyway, since he’s returned, he’s hit a .375 ISO and a wOBA of .422 against lefties.

He’ll face Kyle Freeland of the Rockies, who has allowed a .298 ISO and a wOBA of .419 to his last 97 righties. Freeeland is a lefty, who has given up a 13% barrel percentage. He’s also only added 17.5% of strikeouts against righties and has allowed about 34% of fly balls from righties over the last 30 days.

Hernandez looks great on paper. Let’s roll with him to add a home run tonight.
