(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Willy Adames (+480)
Willy Adames has posted a .263 ISO and a .324 wOBA against his last 21 lefties. The right-handed slugger has added 33.3% of fly balls and over 41% of hard contact against lefties over the last month.
Today, he’ll battle Kyle Freeland of the Rockies, who has allowed a .264 ISO and a wOBA of .365 to his last 90 righties. Freeland has allowed 39.1% of fly balls and a 13% barrel rate against righties in that time frame. He’s also allowed over 56% hard contact and has induced just 21.1% strikeouts against righties over the last 30 days.
Let’s ride with Adames to hit a long ball today.
Eli White (+900)
Eli White already hit a home run earlier this week. At +900, I’ll give him another chance tonight. The righty has hit a .333 ISO and a wOBA of .442 against his last 26 lefties over the last month.
White has also hit 31.2% of fly balls against lefties during that time.
Meanwhile, he’ll face Matthew Liberatore of the Cardinals, who is a lefty, allowing a .382 ISO and a .436 wOBA to his last 78 righties. Those righties have added a 14.3% barrel percentage and below 18% of strikeouts against Liberatore. He’s also given up nearly 29% of fly balls to righties over the last month. In fact, he’s struggled against righties throughout the entire season.
White at +900 looks juicy!
Kazuma Okamoto (+370)
Kazuma Okamoto is looking to close out the first half of the season strong. He’s got two homers in his last five games and has hit a .304 ISO and a wOBA of .374 against his last 77 righties, as a right-handed batter.
Okamoto has launched 28% of fly balls and 42% of hard contact against righties during that stretch.
That said, he’ll go up against Padres righty Walker Buehler, who has allowed righties to hit .405 ISO and a .498 wOBA over the last month. Buehler has allowed 36.4% of fly balls and a 15.2% barrel percentage to righties as a righty. He’s also delivered 57.6% hard contact, with only 18.8% strikeouts against righties in the last 30 days.
Let’s see what Okamoto can do tonight!
