Sunday’s Best MLB Home Run Props & Picks
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Samuel Basallo (+320)
Samuel Basallo has a .246 ISO and a wOBA of .365 against his last 66 righties. The left-handed catcher has also yanked 35.6% of fly balls with a team-best 17.8% barrel rate against righties.
Basallo is set to take on Zack Littell of the Washington Nationals, who has allowed a .357 ISO and a wOBA of .432 to his last 46 lefties. Those lefties have hit 51.4% of hard contact, a 11.4% barrel rate and over 31% of fly balls. Littell has also added just 17.4% of strikeouts against lefties over the last month.
Basallo looks great on paper today. Let’s give him a shot.
JJ Bleday (+400)
Over the last month, JJ Bleday has smacked a .274 ISO and a wOBA of .378. The left-handed slugger has hit just 21.7% of ground balls. Instead, he’s added over 28% of fly balls, 52.2% of hard contact and a barrel rate of nearly 11% agaisnt righties over the last month.
Today, Bleday will battle Mitch Keller of the Pirates, who has allowed a .262 ISO and a wOBA of .423 against his last 77 lefties. Keller had given up over 35% of fly balls to lefties over the same time period and has only struck out 19.5% of lefties during that span.
Bleday has a terrific matchup today.
Bryce Harper (+450)
The Mets will likely have a reliever open up the game. But Tobias Myers should get the bulk of the early innings for the Mets. Myers has allowed a .571 ISO and a wOBA of .610 to his last 17 lefties. He’s given up over 30% of fly balls and has added just 5.9% of strikeouts against lefties over the last month.
That plays out well for Bryce Harper, who has a .432 ISO and a wOBA of .489 against his last 57 righties. Harper socked one out of the yard last night and is in a great position to do it again tonight.
Let’s back Harper to hit a home run.
