Sunday’s Best MLB Home Run Props & Picks

    (Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

    Luis Garcia (+320

Over the last 30 days, Luis Garcia has hit a .304 ISO and a wOBA of .377 against his last 58 righties as a left-handed batter. Today, he’ll battle Grant Holmes, a righty, who has allowed a .227 ISO and a wOBA of .347 against his last 53 lefties.

Holmes has allowed nearly 29% of fly balls and has given up an 11.4% barrel percentage with almost 46% of hard contact. Additionally, he’s added just 20.8% of strikeouts and has fallen behind lefties a lot over the last month.

That should help Garcia, who has hit a team-best 24.4% barrel percentage against righties over the last 30 days. He’ll likely be hitting clean-up today, too.

    Griffin Conine (+400

Griffin Conine doesn’t have a home run in his last five games. That said, he’s still hit a .404 ISO and a wOBA of .411 against his last 62 righties. The left-handed slugger will likely bat 5th in tonight’s lineup and will face Grayson Rodriguez, who has allowed a .173 ISO and a wOBA of .343 to his last 60 lefties. Those lefties have also hit 53.2% of hard contact and nearly 28% of fly balls over the last 30 days.

Plus, Conine has added more fly balls than ground balls against righties over the last 30 days. Additionally, he’s socked a 23.7% barrel percentage, which is easily the best number on the Marlins against righties over the last 30 days.

I’ll gladly take Conine to hit a homer at +400 odds.

    Nolan Arenado (+540

We tried Nolan Arenado last night, but he didn’t come through. I’ll try him one more time today.

He’s hitting a .524 ISO and a wOBA of .482 against his last 24 lefties. He’s also hit an 80% hard contact rate with a 20% barrel percentage against lefties during that time.

He’s set to face Justin Wrobleski of the Dodgers, who has been absolutely awful over the last few starts. He’s allowed a .511 ISO and a wOBA of .453 to his last 49 righties, while also allowing a 21.9% barrel percentage with 40.6% of fly balls.

A veteran like Arenado should be able to take advantage.
