Friday’s Best MLB Player Props

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Corey Seager Over 1.5 Total Bases (-125)

Corey Seager has smashed right-handed pitching over the last 30 days. He’s hit a .393 ISO and wOBA of .461, with just 11.4% of strikeouts against his last 70 righties.

Meanwhile, he’ll face Joe Ryan, who has struggled against lefties over the last 30 days. Ryan has started to fatigue in the second half of the season. Ordinarily good, Ryan has allowed a .436 ISO and wOBA of .513 to his last 43 batters. Lefties have hit a .438 ISO and wOBA of .539 against Ryan in the previous 30 days.

On top of that, Ryan has only earned 15.8% of strikeouts against lefties over the last month. He’s also allowed the same amount of fly balls as ground balls induced then.

Seager’s having an incredible year. He’ll continue that in September.

Kyle Tucker Over 1.5 Total Bases (+115)

Nobody can pinpoint what’s wrong with Carlos Rodon. But for now, let’s profit off his struggles. This season, the left-handed pitcher has allowed a .360 ISO and wOBA of .392 to 33 lefties. He’s also allowed his last 14 lefties to hit a .545 ISO and wOBA of .511.

Rodon hasn’t induced a ground ball against a lefty in over a month. He’s also struck out just 21.4% of lefties in the last 30 days.

Tonight, he’ll take on Kyle Tucker of the Astros, one of the few lefties that has hit other lefties at a high rate throughout the year. In the last month, Tucker hit a .317 ISO and wOBA of .367 against his last 47 lefties. He’s also limited strikeouts to 19.1% and should put the ball in play multiple times against Rodon.

Take Tucker to earn at least two total bases.

Spencer Torkelson Over 1.5 Total Bases (+125)

Touki Toussaint will take the hill for the White Sox tonight. The right-hander has allowed a .244 ISO and wOBA of .393 against his last 113 batters. He’s been awful against both sides of the plate, but righties have had more success.

Righties have hit a .275 ISO and wOBA of .419 against Toussaint over the last month. Toussaint has allowed about 5% more fly balls to righties in the previous 30 days while allowing over 59% of hard contact.

He’ll face Spencer Torkelson, who has hit a .338 ISO and wOBA of .400 against his last 90 righties. The Tigers, including Torkelson. Strikeout at a high rate against righties. However, if Toussaint makes a mistake, he’ll play for it.

Torkelson has slugged 34.6% of fly balls and line drives against righties. He’s also hit over 69% of hard contact against righties in the last 30 days. Meanwhile, he’s hit a 26.9% barrel percentage against righties in the previous month, which is out of this world. An 8% barrel percentage isn’t bad. He’s hitting a 26.9% barrel percentage against righties in the last 30 days.
