Monday’s Best MLB Player Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Noelvi Marte Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (-115)

We're starting to see the Reds putting things together. Thanks to a four-game winning streak, they are over .500 for the first time this season. The offense has been carrying this team during this winning streak, as they're leading the league with a .316 batting average and 30 runs scored.

Noelvi Marte has played a large part in their success as he's been hot recently. Since April 20th, he leads the league with 12 RBI and is second with 12 hits. He doesn't have much experience against Andre Pallante, with only one hit, but it's a two-RBI double.

Patrick Corbin Over 5.5 Hits Allowed (-120)

The National League West could be a tight race this season, with no team establishing dominance. Currently, all five teams are only separated by three losses. The Athletics have started the season surprisingly well (.500). Their offense has been great, as they are eighth in batting average (.252), fifth in slugging (.428) and fourth in launch angle sweet-spot rate (36.8%).

They'll start another series against the Rangers after taking two out of three from them last week. That one loss was against Patrick Corbin, but they had some success as they tagged him with two runs on seven hits. Previous history shows the A's could have more success as they are hitting .298 with a .553 slugging percentage all-time against Corbin.

Bailey Ober 6+ Strikeouts (+140)

It’s been a tough start to the Twins’ season, already losing ground in the American League Central. Over the last few seasons, they've been able to put together a good pitching staff. They are 10th in ERA (3.64) this season. It'll be the offense that will keep them from contending, and they are only 21st in runs scored per game (3.79).

Bailey Ober's 5.04 ERA looks bad right now, but that stems from his first start of the season, where he allowed eight earned runs. Since then, he has a 2.42 ERA and has won his last two starts. He's facing his division foe, the Guardians, against whom he's been successful.

Out of 72 plate appearances, the Guardians are batting just .116 and have a 29.2% strikeout percentage against Ober. Cleveland has struggled with the strikeouts recently - 26.7% strikeout rate (28th) over their last three games. Getting six strikeouts at these odds is a fantastic value.
