MLB Player Props & Bets: Tuesday (6/3)
From an MLB player props perspective, it doesn’t get more exciting than what we witnessed this weekend with both reigning MVPs, Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani, putting on a show head-to-head in the Yankees vs. Dodgers series.
Even though last year’s World Series participants are no longer playing each other, there is still plenty of excitement amid this full 15-game MLB slate. Read on for our top MLB player props and bets for Tuesday, June 3rd.

Tuesday's Best MLB Player Props & Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Isaac Paredes Under 0.5 Hits (+125)
Isaac Paredes is enjoying his first season with the Astros, as his .252 batting average is on pace to be a career-high. However, Paredes is in one of his worst slumps of the season as his average is down from .276 since last Sunday. The slugger has just one hit in his last 22 at-bats, with a .083 on-base percentage (OBP) and .045 slugging percentage in that span.
Things do not get easier for Paredes in this series opener against the Pirates, as he gets a date with one of the nastiest right-handed pitchers in the sport in Paul Skenes. Skenes has allowed a .176/.239/.269 slash line to opposing right-handed hitters this season, and has allowed four or fewer hits in four of his previous five starts.
I am backing Paredes to go hitless today, as he should not face much of Pittsburgh’s beleaguered bullpen with Skenes recording 18+ outs in 10 of his last 11 outings.
Cade Horton to Record a Win (+170)
The Cubs have won all four games in which Cade Horton has appeared, and the righty has earned the victory in two of his three starts.
Horton opposes a Nationals team that has played surprisingly well of late, as their 10-4 record since May 16th is the second-best in the National League. The only team with a better record in that span is the 12-3 Cubs, which is the best record in the Majors, and is why I am willing to oppose Nationals righty Trevor Williams despite his past success against the Cubs
Williams has held current Cubs hitters to a .213/.267/.274 slash line in 94 combined at-bats. But this Cubs lineup has a different feel to it this year, with the highest runs per game average, and Williams is the only one of Washington’s pitchers with at least seven starts made who has a negative WAR rating.
Horton is coming off his first quality start of the season in a no-decision against the Rockies, but I am opting for the chance at a big payday by backing him to earn the victory on the road tonight.
Cristopher Sanchez Under 4.5 Strikeouts (+110)
The Blue Jays have been consistent at limiting opposing starting pitchers’ strikeout potentials, with the most eye-popping result being not striking out at all against Jacob deGrom last week. That marked the first time in deGrom’s career he did not finish a game with at least one strikeout.
Toronto has struck out at the lowest rate in the American League against left-handed pitching (19.7%), and had an even better 17.7% strikeout rate altogether in May.
Cristopher Sanchez ranks in the top 25 of all pitchers with 70 strikeouts and has recorded at least five strikeouts in six consecutive starts. But this line was set this way for a reason, and I expect the Blue Jays’ lineup will lower his ceiling for strikeouts.
