MLB Same Game Parlay Odds & Picks for Thursday, June 23 (2022)

On Tuesday we hit a +421 same-game parlay. However, last night, we went a bit bigger with a +756 same-game parlay win with the Mariners!

We’re having a blast with these same-game parlays. So let’s do another batch today.

Here are my three same-game parlays for the MLB slate on June 23.

Houston Astros vs. New York Yankees

  • Leg 1: Jameson Taillon Under 4.5 K’s (-136)
  • Leg 2: Yordan Alvarez 2+ Total Bases (+105)
  • Leg 3: Framber Valdez 5+ Strikeouts (-200)

The Yankees and Astros are the two best teams in baseball. Tonight, they’ll start a new series in Yankee Stadium.

Jameson Taillon will get the start for New York. He hasn’t had many blemishes this season but power from lefties has been the one area where he’s struggled. Yordan Alvarez has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball, batting from the left side. He has a .302 ISO and wOBA of .503 in the last 30 days against righties. An extra-base hit from Alvarez wouldn’t be shocking.

Meanwhile, the Astros lineup is striking out just 17.2% of the time against righties in the last 30 days. Strikeouts will be hard to come by for Taillon.

However, the opposite could be said about Framber Valdez. Valdez will get the start for the Astros against a Yankees lineup that has struck out 28.2% of the time against lefties in the last 30 days.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Chicago White Sox

  • Leg 1: Trey Mancini 2+ Total Bases (+105)
  • Leg 2: Andrew Vaughn 2+ Total Bases (-105)
  • Leg 3: Jose Abreu 2+ Total Bases (+105)

Between Dean Kramer and Johnny Cueto on the mound, I’m expecting plenty of hits tonight.

Cueto has had a 5.04 xFIP in the last 30 days while allowing 42.1% of hard contact. Righties have a .335 wOBA and ISO of .189 against Cueto in their last 78 plate appearances.

Trey Mancini has been the lone right-handed batter for the Orioles that has hit with consistency against righties with a .220 ISO and wOBA of .374.

On the other hand, Dean Kramer has a 4.88 xFIP with just 16.1% of strikeouts in the last 30 days. He’s giving up 25% of line drives and over 35% of hard contact. Andrew Vaughn and Jose Abreu are both hitting line drives over 22% of the time against righties in the last 30 days with wOBA above .400 for each of them in that same time frame.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. San Diego Padres

  • Leg 1: Ha-Seong Kim 1+ Hit (-150)
  • Leg 2: Jake Cronenworth 2+ Total Bases (+140)
  • Leg 3: Ranger Suarez Under 4.5 K’s (-156)

Ranger Suarez will take on the San Diego Padres on the road tonight. The left-hander has a 4.85 xFIP with low strikeouts and high walks in the last 30 days.

Suarez has struggled a bit against righties, allowing a .353 wOBA and ISO of .171. However, he struggled to get lefties out, even more, earning just 14.8% of strikeouts in the last 30 days against lefties.

Ha-Seong Kim has a .417 wOBA against lefties in 36 plate appearances while Jake Cronenworth has a .451 wOBA against lefties in the last 30 days. I’m expecting both of those two batters to have success offensively.

Plus, the Padres only strike out 19.6% of the time in the last 30 days against lefties with their projected lineup. Only four batters strike out more than 14% of the time against lefties. So we’ll add Suarez’s under with strikeouts to the parlay.
