MLB Same Game Parlay Odds & Picks: Monday (8/12)
There are a couple of MLB games I’m eying up for our same game parlays tonight!

Monday’s Best MLB Same Game Parlay Bets

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Cincinnati Reds
- Leg 1: Masyn Winn Over 1.5 Total Bases (+105)
- Leg 2: Tommy Pham Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105)
- Leg 3: Nolan Arenado Over 1.5 Total Bases (+105)
The Cincinnati Reds have Andrew Abbott scheduled to start tonight against the Cardinals. Abbott is a left-handed thrower who has allowed a .333 ISO and wOBA of .460 to his last 94 righties. In addition, he’s struck out 22.3% of righties over the previous month and has given up 53.1% of hard contact with just 35.9% of ground balls induced over the last month.
He’ll face a Cardinals squad that has delivered substantial numbers against lefties over the last 30 days tonight. Masyn Winn has earned a .344 ISO and wOBA of .422 against his last 36 lefties. Behind him, Tommy Pham has knocked a .364 ISO and wOBA of .426 with just 4.8% of strikeouts in the previous 30 days.
Finally, Nolan Arenado has hit a .333 ISO and wOBA of .381 over the last 30 days against lefties. He’s also struck out just 15.4% of the time against lefties.
Willson Contreras and Paul Goldschmidt are also good options if you’re looking for extra legs or replacements. Realistically, there are six options in the St. Louis lineup with terrific numbers against lefties. You could even juice the odds more with the Cardinals moneyline if you wanted to.

Chicago Cubs vs. Cleveland Guardians

- Leg 2: Cody Bellinger Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)
- Leg 3: Pete Crow-Armstrong Over 0.5 Hits (-230)
The Cleveland Guardians will pitch Ben Lively tonight. Lively is a right-handed pitcher who has given up a .288 ISO and wOBA of .353 to his last 69 lefties.
Lively has allowed 31.9% of fly balls and nearly 43% of hard contact to lefties. He’s also struck them out just 17.4% of the time over the last month.
On the other hand, the Cubs have some really good lefties in their lineup. Michael Busch should be batting second. He’s hit a .232 ISO and wOBA of .367 against righties over the last month.
In the four-spot is Cody Bellinger, who has slugged a .226 ISO and wOBA of .379 with only 11.8% of strikeouts against righties in the past 30 days.
Finally, Pete Crow-Amstrong, another lefty, has hit a .223 ISO and wOBA of .317 with just 13.8% of strikeouts against righties.
Ultimately, the Cubs will make Lively work. Most of the lineup, especially at the bottom, rarely strikes out. It’ll just put a lot of pressure on Lively when he has to face these tough lefties with guys on base.
Let’s stack the lefties against Lively, who has struggled immensely against southpaws over the last 30 days.
