Los Angeles Angels vs. Kansas City Royals

The Los Angeles Angels will pitch Carson Fulmer for tonight’s ball game against the Royals. Fulmer is a right-handed pitcher who has allowed a .258 ISO and wOBA of .356 to his last 100 batters.

In addition, Fulmer has struck out only 18% of batters and has allowed as many fly balls as ground balls induced this season.

He’s only struck out 14.5% of righties and has allowed 42.5% of fly balls with 70% of hard contact over the last month. Therefore, we’ll add Bobby Witt Jr. to the same-game parlay. He’s a righty, hitting a .442 ISO and wOBA of .575 against his last 88 righties. Witt Jr. has only struck out 11.4% of the time against righties over the previous month.

On the other hand, Fulmer has limited walks, which is better against lefties. But he’s still allowed a .333 ISO and wOBA of .386 with 28.1% of line drives and 43.8% of hard contact.

Vinnie Pasquantino and MJ Melendez should also perform against Fulmer as left-handed hitters. Pasquantino has slugged a .250 ISO and woBA of .443 with 7% of strikeouts against righties over the last month. Meanwhile, Melendez has hit a .286 ISO and wOBA of .389 with only 17.4% of strikeouts against righties in the previous 30 days.

Stack the Royals against a struggling Fulmer.

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Oakland Athletics

The Oakland Athletics will send out Joe Boyle for tonight’s showdown against the Rays. Boyle, a right-handed pitcher, has watched 92 lefties hit a .402 wOBA against him this season. Since being called back up from Triple-A, Boyle has allowed a .333 ISO and wOBA of .634 to his last 11 lefties. He’s also allowed 83.3% hard contact and 66.7% line drives.

Meanwhile, lefty Brandon Lowe has hit a .257 ISO and wOBA of .363 against his last 77 righties, and lefty Josh Lowe has smacked a .250 ISO and wOBA of .384 against his last 59 righties. Those two are in an excellent position to smack line drives against Boyle tonight.

On the other hand, Taj Bradley will get the call with the Rays. He’s been good, adding 23.7% of strikeouts and 49.4% of ground balls over the last 30 days. However, Bradley has also allowed a .250 ISO and wOBA of .359 to his previous 62 righties as a right-handed pitcher.

His scariest matchup is against Brent Rooker, who has slugged a .278 ISO and wOBA of .369 against righties over the last month. We’ll include Rooker to add two total bases to finish off this same-game parlay.
