Cincinnati Reds vs. Miami Marlins
- Leg 1: Elly De La Cruz Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105)
- Leg 2: TJ Friedl Over 1.5 Total Bases (+125)
- Leg 3: Jake Burger Over 1.5 Total Bases (-105)
The Cincinnati Reds will send out Nick Martinez for tonight’s matchup against the Marlins. The right-hander has actually struggled more against righties over the last month. Martinez has allowed a .233 ISO and wOBA of .407 to his previous 32 righties. He’s also given up 36% of line drives with only 28% of ground balls induced to righties over the last 30 days.
Therefore, we’ll rock with Jake Burger to earn at least two total bases. After all, he’s nailed a .339 ISO and wOBA of .469 against his last 67 righties this season.
On the other hand, Roddery Munoz will take the hill for the Marlins. He’s a righty who has been torched by lefties all year. He’s faced 133 lefties this season and has allowed a .384 ISO and wOBA of .442 to those lefties. It hasn’t gotten any better over the last month.
Therefore, we’ll attack with some lefties from the Reds. Elly De La Cruz has smacked a .271 ISO and wOBA of .458 against his last 52 righties. Meanwhile, TJ Friedl has added a .200 ISO and wOBA of .309 with just 11.8% of strikeouts.
Munoz has earned just 14.6% of strikeouts against lefties over the last month.

Minnesota Twins vs. Chicago Cubs
- Leg 1: Max Kepler Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)
- Leg 2: Trevor Larnach Over 1.5 Total Bases (+140)
- Leg 3: Matt Wallner Over 1.5 Total Bases (+170)
The Chicago Cubs’ Kyle Hendricks will pitch. Hendricks is a right-handed veteran who can’t get lefties out right now. Against his last 51 lefties, Hendricks has allowed a .222 ISO and wOBA of .405, with 36.8% of line drives and only 28.9% of ground balls induced.
In addition, Hendricks has struck out only 13.7% of lefties in the past 30 days and has added just 6% of swinging strikes. He’s not fooling many lefties right now.
Max Kepler has slugged a .152 ISO and wOBA of .358 against righties with only 15.4% of strikeouts over the last 30 days. Trevor Larnach has slugged a .239 ISO and wOBA of .382 against righties with only 22.4% of strikeouts.
Finally, Matt Wallner has hit an insane .513 ISO and wOBA of .569 against his last 46 righties.
After all, Hendricks has allowed a .238 ISO and wOBA of .396 to all 188 lefties faced this season. His strikeout rate has been below 15% against lefties all season. He’s just been even worse over the last month.
Let’s stack the lefties against Hendricks tonight.
