New York Mets vs. Toronto Blue Jays

The New York Mets will start Paul Blackburn for the first game of their road series against the Toronto Blue Jays. Blackburn had been the weakest link in the Mets rotation before his injury. The Mets pitching was unhittable during their nine-game winning streak (that ended yesterday) when he wasn’t on the mound.

However, Blackburn is very hittable. He’s allowed a .226 ISO and wOBA of .437 to his last 58 batters. Blackburn has also given up 37.8% of line drives over the previous month and has added just 6.4% of swinging strikes in the last 30 days. Beyond that, Blackburn has totaled just 15.5% of strikeouts and has struggled against both sides of the plate.

Meanwhile, the Blue Jays have a lineup hitting a .231 ISO and wOBA of .358 against righties in the last 30 days. Toronto’s lineup hasn’t struck out much against righties and also doesn’t work walks. They’re aggressive and looking for extra-base hits.

George Springer has added a .281 ISO and wOBA of .331 against his last 73 righties. Behind him, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has earned a .282 ISO and wOBA of .436 with just 9.6% of strikeouts against righties.

Finally, a lefty named Spencer Horwitz has added a .319 ISO and a .410 wOBA against righties in the last month.

Stack these three in a same-game parlay tonight.

Chicago Cubs vs. Los Angeles Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers are set to face Chicago Cubs veteran Kyle Hendricks. Hendricks has allowed a .161 ISO and wOBA of .447 to his last 36 lefties. He’s also struck out just 11.1% of lefties in the previous month and has given up 33.3% of line drives. Beyond that, he’s earned below 10% of swinging strikes and has induced only 37% of ground balls against lefties.

Shohei Ohtani is the best lefty in the MLB. He’s hit a .415 ISO and wOBA of .414 against his last 72 righties. Lower in the order, Max Muncy has looked really good since returning from the injured list. Muncy has added a .323 ISO and wOBA of .471 against his last 39 righties.

Lastly, Gavin Lux, another left-handed bat, has hit a .275 ISO and wOBA of .414 against his last 77 righties.

Don’t be afraid to stack the Dodgers lefties against Hendricks. Freddie Freeman is another good option, as he’s hit a .200 ISO and wOBA of .320 against righties in the last month.
