Los Angeles Angels vs. Seattle Mariners
- Leg 1: Reid Detmers Over 5.5 Ks (-128)
- Leg 2: Brett Phillips Over .5 Hits (+105)
- Leg 3: Logan O’Hoppe Over .5 Hits (-160)
The left-hander Reid Detmers will take the mound for the Angels tonight. He’s struck out 25.7% of batters throughout the season, including 28.1% of righties. His strikeout rate has dipped recently, but he’ll face a Mariners lineup that has struck out nearly 26% of the time against lefties in the last 30 days.
Seattle’s right-handed batters have struck out nearly 25% of the time. There will likely be eight righties in the lineup for the Mariners.
On the other side, Logan Gilbert will man the mound for the Mariners. He’s a righty, allowing a .250 ISO and wOBA of .410 to his last 64 righties.
The Angels’ lineup still has a couple of solid right-handed batters. Logan O’Hoppe has smashed a .265 ISO and has struck out only 17% of the time against righties in the last month. Meanwhile Brett Phillips, who will likely bat ninth, has hit a .333 ISO and wOBA of .457 in his previous ten at-bats against righties.
The Angels should shine in tonight’s game.

Cleveland Guardians vs. San Francisco Giants
- Leg 1: Mike Yastrzemski Over 1.5 Total Bases (+125)
- Leg 2: Joc Pederson Over 1.5 Total Bases (+140)
- Leg 3: Bo Naylor Over .5 Hits (-160)
The rookie right-hander Gavin Williams will take the mound for the Guardians tonight. He’s only struck out 21.1% of lefties in the last month while allowing a .229 ISO and wOBA of .374 to his previous 57 lefties.
Mike Yastrzemski has slugged a .429 ISO and wOBA of .573 against his last 25 righties. He’ll bat leadoff and has a lot of potential against the right-hander.
In the cleanup spot, Joc Pederson, another lefty, will bat against Williams. He’s hit a .155 ISO and wOBA of .347 against his last 65 righties. Like Yastrzemski, Pederson has also kept strikeouts down over the previous month against righties.
On the other side, Alex Cobb will get the call for the Giants tonight. Cobb has allowed a .240 ISO and wOBA of .347 to his last 53 lefties. He’s also struck out just 11.3% of lefties in the previous 30 days.
The Guardians’ offense has been horrible against righties in the last 30 days. Only two bats in the Cleveland lineup have hit an above-average ISO and wOBA against righties.
One is Gabriel Arias, who has hit a .231 ISO and wOBA of .392, but he’s a right-handed batter and Cobb is much worse against lefties.
The other is Bo Naylor, a lefty hitting a .410 ISO and wOBA of .503 against his last 47 righties. That’s a solid sample size to prove that Naylor has been effective against righties in the previous month.
Also, don’t get fooled. Pick Bo Naylor, not his brother, Josh Naylor. Josh, also a lefty, has hit a .000 ISO and wOBA of .237 since returning to the lineup against righties.
Parlay Odds: +650
